About
One shot. No physics, no power, no spin — only the exact angle of reflection.
Carom drops a ball into a room of angled walls scattered with pegs. Drag to aim, tap Fire, and the app traces exactly where a real reflection would carry the ball — bouncing wall to wall until it has visited every peg, or running out of bounces trying.
There is one right angle, and Carom tells you how close you were, to two decimal places. Miss, and the path stays behind as a grey ghost so you can see what you tried. Nudge the angle by 0.05°, fire again, and halve the gap. That's the whole game: aim, fire, read the miss, halve the interval — a geometry problem you can actually search your way through.
Sixty rooms across four chapters — Corners, Angles, Runs, Threads — each one generated and kept only because its solving window is narrow enough to be a puzzle and wide enough to hit. A new Room of the Day arrives every day, the same one for everyone, computed on your device with no server involved.
WHAT'S IN IT
• Exact specular reflection, not simulated physics — one right answer, every time, to the degree
• Pegs are gates, not obstacles — they never deflect the ball, so the geometry stays honest
• Unlimited shots — a room is never lost, and your fewest shots are kept
• Ghost trails from your last three misses, each labelled with the angle that made them
• Room of the Day, plus a running streak
• Full VoiceOver support — the board is one adjustable element, and every action also has an on-screen button, so there's no separate "accessible mode"
• Dark mode, Dynamic Type, and a high-contrast peg palette
• Completely offline: no account, no network access, no ads, no tracking, nothing collected
Carom is a quiet, exact little puzzle for anyone who likes knowing there's a real answer sitting underneath the game.
