Great app for tracking maintenance/usage
I’ve been using Carport for a few years and it’s been a great tool to keep track of an all my vehicles. Reminders and to-dos are key to keeping up with multiple vehicles. Maintenance tracking keeps all my records in one place and makes it easy to see how much I’m spending (too much). I haven’t used it in the sale of a vehicle yet (transferring records) but the report looks great and would be confidence inspiring if I were a buyer. Best of all they take feedback and incorporate it into the app!

I searched for ‘car to-do-list’ trying my luck to see if an app existed to help me keep track of my various Subaru wrx restorations/builds.
I was not confident one would exist & was expecting to potentially compromise, re-purposing a ‘Domestic’ duty checklist app😅
I saw this app, immediately checked the reviews.
Some bloke said ‘simple & comprehensive’ or something to that effect.
The app gives you a walk-through, a tutorial; all without being invasive.
No ‘Ad-Walls’
No prompting for payment to utilities the advertised features.
This app offers such a rich value,the user interface is simple without being dull.
Nothing is withheld from the user until a payment is made (or subscription of payments!)

Good, but needs improvement
Great app, many helpful features for a car enthusiast. There are other reviews there that I agree with, some great recommendations out there. As for me, the biggest flaw of the app is a login process. Even if the e-mail comes quickly, it takes more time compared to traditional username/password login. What if I forgot which e-mail I used? What if I want to just save the password in my keychain and forget about it? You are worried about the security? Ask a user to change the password every now and then, add authentication with FaceID… Code by e-mail process is why I use this app twice a year instead of every week.
Second thing - please make deleting to dos possible. Not every to do is meant to be completed, sometimes people just change minds or to dos become irrelevant.

Phenomenal app
I’ve been using this app for about a month and it’s become an invaluable tool for organizing vehicle records, prioritizing projects and repairs, documenting vehicle history, and anticipating preventative maintenance. I especially like the way it automatically counts how many days since you’ve driven a particular vehicle - a subtle reminder to rotate and enjoy my cars.
Obviously an app designed by like-minded auto enthusiasts. If you have two or more vehicles this app belongs on your home screen.

Good app but..
The app itself is very good but the log in process is too much trouble. It requires you to enter your email address and wait for a code to be sent (which sometimes takes hours or days). Ridiculous for a car app. DEVELOPERS : THIS ISN’T A BANKING APP. I deleted Carport because of the log in headache. Make it easy to log in and I’ll be back. I would even pay a subscription fee.

Love it
I especially love the built in scanner that can digitize all the receipts and dates of services so we have a record of it. It has some many features that car enthusiasts who own multiple cars will come across and utilize. Recently tried it and it worked very smoothly without a lot of bugs. Amazing app that I plan to rely heavily on. A few notes for future improvement:
- under service providers perhaps make it possible to share the same provider across different cars so we don’t have to keep creating the same service provider over and over for each vehicle
- the app crashes when the pictures of the cars to be uploaded are high quality high resolution ones
- on the to do list, it would be tremendously helpful if a date can be associated with each “to do” so we get a reminder of the what needs to be serviced, rather than everything is “due now” rated by importance and urgency. It’s useful to know that diff parts of the car have diff service intervals and requires a diff date vs voluntary “to dos”
- it would be amazing if AI is able to read off receipt amounts and dates to save time importing such data (of course receipts can be tricky so requires user confirmation)
- under the service column it needs more categories available. There are many diff kind of fluids and so far there’s only oil change. Stuff like drive belt, spark plugs, brake fluid, coolant, power steering, differential, dct, gear oil etc should be included

This app requires inputting personal data that is irrelevant to vehicle maintenance. More than a little suspicious.
At long last!!
This app is absolutely awesome!! I’ve had it for one hour and love it!! So blindingly simple to use and what you are told will happen next, does at lightning speed. I love it when things work!!! At 69yo I am usually terrified of these things; this one proves my fears are unfounded!!! Easy and intuitive, the thing almost guesses what I would like to do next!!!

Junk
You download and it has to send you a code. When you get the code and enter it. The app tells you you have to many attempts and resends you another code then the same response over and over. Deleted!

Hi. We’re sorry you had this issue. As we mentioned in emails to you about this issue, for some reason the code email was getting through your email provider very very slowly. So when you request another code, the preceding code is disabled. We do this for security reasons as security and privacy are very important to us and our users. Thanks.
