I used to use CARROT Weather because it’s funny…
Now I use it because it’s the best weather app I own, and it gets better with every release.
Inaccurate
My partner has been complaining that Carrot is inaccurate when compared to Weather and BBC Weather. So I installed it and we compared what the values for today in the exact same location were. Completely different results. In every list of values, hers diverged from mine. Which is insane. How can we rely on this now?

Most funny app
Whenever I check the weather I just have a smile reading the conditions it describes. Very accurate weather and looks amazing and modern love it and minimal to no ads whatsoever much better than apple weather. Highly recommend.

Issue with rain cloud icons
Maybe this is unique to me but I live in the midwestern US and lately this app is showing rain clouds and thunderstorm icons at dry times. I’m literally looking at the precip chart showing 0 all afternoon and it’s still rain cloud icons. The UI is super cute and good, but i NEED them to fix this for it to remain usable. —a decade-long user

Worst weather app of all time
Sunny day all day, no clouds in site and the app still shows a big cloud with rain. Happens all the time. Terrible app
Trim and focus and make it cheaper
I literally just did a review then an app update came through stripping even more features!
I’ve had this now for a couple of years, pay the price as it makes me smile. I pay £19.49 a year, now, for the weather, something readily available for free from lots of places, so that’s a lot!
I’ve watched the app get stuffed with unnecessary features, get messy, and slowly things getting stripped away for ‘ultra’ even basic things or just handy things like Apple car play. Now that the edge of the comedy aspect and pretty graphics is wearing off this is beginning to really annoy me, the weather accuracy has also gotten worse and having just done the app update you’ve stripped away multi day on the sonar, what next! I mean, come on.
So, I’ll give it 6 months, I hope you’re the type of developers that look at reviews and take on board the criticism from your loyal customers … whether you act on it is your choice, but I will be cancelling and deleting if things don’t improve.

Really good app that tells the real temperature other than those default apps that have no entertainment with them. The creator(s) put a lot of thought into this app but the one thing I don’t really like about it is that we have to pay money for almost everything. Five stars overall 👍
