Can’t restore account
I loved the app and I found it in a niche subreddit. A year later I forgot my password and can’t login anymore. The “forgot password” button does absolutely nothing. Lost a bunch of cool logs :/
Update: the developers helped me recover my account! The images are stored in the gallery but the logs are gone. Not sure how to recover them. Also there’s no date feature, and can’t undo when we label the wrong.

Perfect car spotting game
Absolutely love this game with a passion. Im extremely addicted to this game but I just have a few suggestions. Maybe like add something like you can view others car spots without them added as a friend and another one is make some cars have a rarer rating like exotic or mythical. Thats all from me love the game a lot just would love those as a new feature❤️

Love this app
This app is awesome my whole family has this app and we enjoy finding and show each other the cars we found. Only thing I wish I could do is view other peoples profile and see the photos of the cars that they have taken. Other than that this app is awesome

CarSpotter is a really good app for the people who love cars I’ve just started and I’m amazed by how many different types of cars and car brands there are bravo to the person who has created this amazing platform.
Bugs
This is a great app, I love taking photos of cars and saving it to a place where I can look at the again. However there are some bugs like I can’t see the leaderboard or go onto the feed to look at other peoples photos. I can’t even view my profile. Besides the bugs I enjoy the app.
Not enough rare cars
So far I have been loving the app, and many of the cars that I have spotted are included in its database, but I have noticed that it lacks concept cars, which I have had the privilege of seeing in person and been able to take photos of. In short, I think the app is great, but it could use an expansion on the range of cars it is able to register.

Erased all my data
I added a bunch of cars as a “guest” to see if I liked the app. once I decided to keep it, I created an account and list ALL my progress. Nope, I’m done. Deleted app
Almost Perfect
This would actually be the best car spotting app if you could discover eachother’s spots and public profiles instead of only being able to view friends.
Add a way to log multiple dif versions of a same model
Great app, just wish i was able to log more than one specific model, i drive a 300zx NA and i recently saw a cool one on the road, so now i have to decide if i wanna log mine, or the other. Please add a way that I can add multiple different versions of the same model🫶
Could be great
Not sure why it costs us the in game currency to spot cars… you should reward us with the currency. I can’t spot cars anymore because I’ve seen too many and refuse to pay money to spot more. Feels like a money grab
Good concept, needs some work!
The idea of the app is really good, I would love to have all my spots in once place.
The auto detect function doesn’t seem to work that well and the app overall is incredibly laggy. Most buttons didn’t work and would have me tapping repeatedly hit the write spot to use them.
Would be interested to reuse this app in 6 months once it’s a bit more finalised.

Great, but..
it’s a great app, however i can’t use it because of its instability. when i go to select a car, the app just crashes. iPhone 13, iOS 18.6.1
Lacks some good cars
Some good cars aren’t apart of the index, my dad has a 1978 Holden HZ wagon but it’s not in the app unfortunately but overall great app
Me and my friends are having a blast
My car group of friends are having fun competing on the leaderboard! It is missing some cars on the list that I feel are kinda common or at least heard of. I wish there was a way to add cars to the list easily to let the programmers review and add them, but currently you just have to send an email. We love to go to car meets and log our finds in our feeds!

Not nearly enough cars
First I’d like to mention the limited amount of times your allowed to use ai to recognise the cars you find. That’s a huge part of why I got this app because I do love cars but I don’t always know what they are.. but I’m not even allowed to use that feature!
secondly I’m really let down by the car selection. Instead of having a select amount of cars that you’ve seemingly manually put in you should have outsourced the cars and had a system put them in automatically. One of the first cars I tried to put it wasn’t on your list - a ford probe.. but your recognition tech recognised it as a ford probe but then told me I could use it because it wasn’t on the list! What’s the point in having recognition tech if you don’t even have the car on your list.
thirdly I am slightly disappointed with the lack of community connection as I expected to be able to see what other people had seen as I’m a women I don’t have any friends who enjoy cars so I wanted to find some on this app and was let down when that wasn’t a possibility unless I knew their user name directly.
I know this app is fresh and for what it is now it is fine but it has a long way to go before it’s going to be half way good. And don’t get money hungry, just let people use the generator freely and don’t give such a low starting amount.

Fantastic app / idea
It’s a great app, I really like how you can add friends so that you can see each other’s spots and where the car was spotted. Just a suggestion but I would like to see the addition of a feature that makes you able to see everyone who uses the apps spots without them being your friends. Also I feel like it would be a good idea for the pins to show the car brand and model name along with the photo of the car when clicked on instead of just guessing which car / pin you have pressed.

I downloaded this app thinking it would be fun, but no, it kept giving me ads and saying do you want to upgrade also the gas is really annoying.
