It’s so off

In trying to get on a better budget, I was like okay let’s try this. Set my budget and proceeded shopping. Doesn’t allow you name the item, so you have to guess. The app originally said I went over budget by 20 bucks, which no biggie, my fault for forgetting to add a few things to my list. Went to the register, $150 dollars over budget. I went home in shock compared the quantity and one item for $4 my kid tossed in was missing, every time I have tried this app come time to check out it’s ALWAYS 100+ over.

Doesn’t apply tax to total

It’s like that meme “you had one job…!” I considered writing an app to do this since it’s painfully simple. But I thought, “somebody’s bound to have written this already”.

Terrific for shopping on a budget

Found this app a breath of fresh air during a cost of living crisis. When I have a set grocery budget I am able to add items up as I go through the supermarket. I find I stay within my budget far more easily. A great find!

Works great for my needs!

I use the free version. You can use “aisles” if you want to see the total cost of all “dairy” items, etc., or you can shop without the aisles. If you want to remove something from your cart, just swipe left on the item. The tax part didn’t seem to work for me but that isn’t crucial to me. All I wanted was something to calculate the costs that was a bit more convenient to use than a traditional calculator. For me, this app works great!

Missing basic functionality

I tried using it for a few minutes and found that it doesn't calculate tax even though it shows that in the sample images and I had configured my local tax rate, I couldn't remove items from my total, and there was no way to specify that some items might be tax exempt. It's a nice looking app but it's missing too much for it to be useful. Maybe all this works in the paid version?
