No casting or favorites
There isn’t the ability to favorite a program. It doesn’t seen to remember what I am watching with the App on the smart TV even though it’s the same sign-in. There are programs it won’t let me watch with the iPhone app. I can’t cast to another device. There is much fixing that has to happen with this app.

Best Family TV station for learning, history, documentaries, nature, the arts, and local talents. The only station I trust my son to watch as he’s growing up.

Screen goes black
Need to keep deleting App because screen goes black when trying to play show or preview. I do not have these issues with other Apps, not the hardware.
Public TV is the best TV
When it comes to watching public television KCTS9 is absolutely the number one broadcaster. There’s something on for every age and every genre of interest. I’m a huge fan and supporter of commercial free television

Buggy
App wants me to log in several times, then get either frozen app or black screen. I shouldn’t have to always sign in, app should remember me, other apps do. Fire your programmers and hire some people who know what they are doing.
BLACK is ALL WE GET
So disappointing, we missed a couple episodes on Call the Midwife and Before We Die....the app takes us to the episode we want to watch and all we get is a black screen on my ipad...how is KTCS will get continued support, if they can't have a successful app?

Not user friendly
I do not have buffering issues or a black screen or any of those issues. But this app is worlds behind other streaming apps in terms of search-ability and streaming. If I watch Season 1 episode 3 of Vienna Blood, the next time I open the app I have to search for Vienna Blood, search for the season and episode and start playing from the beginning. That’s nuts. And when I finish an episode, it doesn’t automatically go to the next. I use all kinds of streaming apps and they all do that. It seems pretty basic. So, three stars until they get up to speed. But, the programs are so excellent … it’s worth it.

Nothing runs. Get the black screen often; otherwise the arrow with the slash. Baaad investment.

Have supported KCTS for many years, we now don’t have cable TV and planned on using your app to watch our favourites…. Most are unavailable to stream, we are disappointed with the app.
Black screen
On to many times I can not watch because it is a black screen. Even some times black screen with sounds!
Hangs regularly
Stuck at splash screen, stuck on black screen, is supposed to only display you shows you can actually watch but this doesn’t work either.
Why can’t you figure out how to cat to my tv.
I don’t understand why I can’t cast to my tv like I can on all my other streaming apps. You would think PBS would come up with a decent system. Love all of the shows but you make it ver difficult to watch them.
Can’t screen share to my tv
I bought passport so I could screen share as I have given up my cable. I have an iPad and share from other apps but there is no share icon on any of the shows on this app. I too have encountered the black screen a couple of times!

They need a Geek
This app appears to have been set up by a producer or director,get some tech help folks. There needs to be a search function, I help function. You need to make this user friendly. I would like to buy it for my mother but it is so hard to navigate it would baffle her. Terrible shame....love Masterpiece.

It sucks!
As another reviewer says – you get a black screen and a stalled app. Only way forward is to close the app and start again. Fix it or get it out of the App Store please!
