Needs a complete overhaul.
This app has seen no love at all. It’s had a minor updates over the past few years with no meaningful improvements.
Unfortunately the app seems to be largely forgotten, it’s only serves as a method to upload receipts. It’s a shame because there is quite a bit of useful functionality that could be added to save time on the back end.

TERRIBLE APP
I’m required to use this awful excuse of an app for my job and 9/10 it does not work. In no world should it take 10 minutes to upload a single receipt. I handle thousands of receipts and have to login in every other upload because the app is so terrible. Please for the love of god update this app. Every week there’s “maintenance” but what exactly is being updated? The entertainment industry needs to find a different solution for transaction reconciliation. Absolutely waste of my time.

Receipt upload
It takes way to long for a photo of a receipt to upload in the app! Way too time consuming.
Limited but useful
Handy only to upload receipts. You can not actually do a envelope etc on the app. Would be nice, but this is extremely limited in functionality.
Beyond terrible
This app is so bad I attempt to use it for work receipts every week and it never ever uploads photos. Every single time I use it I contemplate laying in traffic……on second thought maybe the designers should since it’s years and years of non functioning even after updates. I really

The worst…..
How has Cashet never never changed/improved its program in the past 10 years that I’ve been forced to use it? The app is totally useless since it takes low quality photos instead of scans, so I have to instead upload scans of my receipts onto my computer, save each as an individual file since I can’t just drop a pdf into the site…. All so that I can input legible receipts into the site. I’ve never wasted so much time in my life as I have trying to deal with uploading receipts to to this archaic website.
This program needs to take a page from Quickbooks and make a program and app that actually functions…

I hate cashet with a passion and I’m forced to use it
It’s absolute trash that the film industry relies on cashet and they have the world’s crappiest app and website service. The absolute worst.
Stopped working recently
This was a pretty decent app until it stopped letting me log in recently ..around March 5th maybe ? I can log in on browser, but can’t on the app either on my new iPhone or somewhat new IPad.. if I put the wrong password in it let’s me know it’s wrong, but when it’s right it doesn’t let me go thru the login screen. Very frustrating !

Completely nonfunctional
This app was never great to begin with, but I used to be able to upload receipts. For the last two months it has just been a blank screen without any options to see charges or upload photos at all. Why on earth has this not been fixed yet?
WORST APP PEX is so much better
This is the most dysfunctional app. All it has to do is allow you to upload receipts and barely does that.You can’t upload a PDF, only a photo, and the only way to actually edit the photos of the receipts is to first to take the photos in a separate app, edit them, and then upload.Also it freezes constantly, bugs out and uploads the wrong images, and is just a hot mess because it hasn’t been updated in years.

This app has a very singular purpose. To upload photos of receipts for specific transactions. I cannot classify any other information, so I still have to use the website.
With such limited attempted function, you would think it would actually function…. But no!!! It’s only purpose is totally ruined because it uploads the wrong photo!!! Even when using the camera!!! I snap a pic of the receipt, then instead of uploading that handy new photo, the app goes digging around in my old photos and chooses one it likes better! I didn’t notice this at first then happened to catch one and checked older uploads and TONS WERE WRONG!!!! So much time wasted!
If this very limited app cannot successfully do its ONE OBJECTIVE, it is not worth existing!!

Absolute Junk
If I didn’t have to use this app for work, I would burn my phone just to make sure this app was removed. As developers, is it your intention to not have your software function? If so, you have succeeded in making an absolute piece of garbage. It’s useless. It doesn’t load photos. It crashes. It’s full of bugs. It’s not the phone because I’m not the only one dealing with it. Get off your butts and make a product that works.

App likes to upload wrong image…very irritating and time consuming
Photo glitch
There is a glitch where occasionally when you take a photo using the camera mode it swaps in a different photo when uploading. There seems to be no way to stop it once it starts happening save for deleting & reinstalling the app. Not exactly helpful since it happens almost every time I try to upload more than 5 photos in a session.

What about pdf receipts
I’m waiting for the update that will allow users to add a pdf file.
Say the vendor emails a pdf receipt.
Taking a mobile screenshot frequently degrades the quality of the image so it’s crummy by the time it’s imported from the mobile gallery.
Where is the “import file” option?
Also, the photo option comprises images so much that some receipts are illegible and Accounting ends up asking for a pdf scan or physical receipt that’s legible.
Why do the photos only scan in color?
Just make the photo scan a pdf scanner.
I want to like this app, but it’s got a long way to go. I wish I could combine GeniusScan and Cashét into one app and save time.
