Castio allows you to cast web videos directly from webpages to your Chromecast-enabled TV. It simplifies the process of watching online content on a larger screen without needing additional apps or complex setup.
Key features include easy connection to Chromecast, the ability to find videos on webpages, video information display, managing a playback queue by adding and removing videos, and playback control.
The app offers a free version with basic functionality. A premium subscription is available for unlimited access to features like advanced playback control and an ad-free queue, starting at $2.99 weekly with a 3-day free trial.
While specific device compatibility isn't detailed, the app is designed to work with Google Chromecast media players connected to a TV. It's available on iOS and likely requires a compatible web browser on your casting device.
Common uses include watching YouTube videos from your browser on the TV, casting movie trailers, streaming longer shows from various websites, and easily queuing up multiple videos for a viewing session.
