Awful application
It barely functions and is very difficult to use. This application has convinced me to try and avoid Castle products. So utterly frustrating to use when you just want to make a few simple changes

This app is junk just like the b link. App crashes and freezes and will brick your esc. Research it and see for yourself. Don’t waste your money on the garbage.

The app stinks. Locks up or crashes. Has problems making or retaining blue tooth connections for any length of time. Failed me again… I gave up on all Castle Creations products….
Not good so far
Downloaded this as I have recently ordered the castlelink bluetooth adapter and a Micro x2 combo. First thing I tried was the demo mode, this gives you a choice of all products to click on and “demo” the software, yet can’t click on a single one. Now I’m wondering if I messed up purchasing the link adapter??? Will see and update when I receive x2.

Bricked my esc
It was working good and all then it just bricked my esc I would not recommend buying the b link totally not worth 50 bucks just buy the usb adapter to tune ur stuff
Bricked my Mamba X ESC
Attempted to update my Mamba X ESC via Castle B-Link and this app and bricked my ESC. My ESC is no longer functional and only displays a blinking red LED.

Works well, I use it for racing!
I use the Castle B-link frequently for racing 1/8th scale buggy and truggy. I’ve never had any big problems that a power cycle didn’t clear. The data logging is fantastic compared to other manufacturers.

Lots of settings but very glitchy
Trying to use throttle curve settings on iPhone is really bad.
Lots of settings. I especially like save profile : I can easily put car in crawler, speed/trail, or a full on burnout mode.

B-Link
Sending this back. Nothing works. You guys should take some notes from Traxxas and the Bluetooth they have. So easy to use even gives mph, tachometer etc. You guys should be embarrassed to even sell this product.

Why won’t you allow app to work with cables?!?! I would like to only bring my iPad and hook that to the esc but this app only works with Bluetooth!!! Pathetic!!!!

They should be embarrassed by this software. You can’t even set a throttle curve with this app. It just does not work and they have no plans to fix it. Save your money and return your B Link.
Throttle curve not working properly
The app mostly works with the exception of one important feature. Impossible to adjust throttle curve on iphone. Please fix this!
Sending settings, crashes esc!!
This app needs some work! When I connect my B-Link to my MMxLX2, it locks me out of the esc and it starts to beep rapidly whenever I try to send the settings to the esc! It always happens when I try to send the settings to the esc! Can someone please take a look at this. When this happens, I get throttle only steering.

So basic and limited. Why?!?
Fist they can’t fix the Futaba Mmx8s temp issue. They also have a bug where you have to set the motor in reverse and the channel on the control needs to be in reverse because it treats the input like it’s reversed and braking doesn’t work. Then this limited IOS app only works with Bluetooth when there are all kinds of usb adapters that let you do direct connect with the USB adapter but it doesn’t work :(

iOS compatibility
The app is terrible. The castle esc and my 6400kv motor are awesome but trying to use the app is an absolute joke. It’s slow to connect sometimes you have to power cycle the esc 3-4 times before you can connect. Torque settings won’t save or sync to the esc from the app, you can’t tune the throttle curve, the last firmware on the momba monster x was in 2018.
I have to say unless they invest more money into the b-link software I won’t buy another because it was the selling point for me to spend all that money on their motor and esc so I didn’t have to lug around a laptop to tune my drag car

Basically useless
There are limitations. Setting a throttle curve is more or less impossible; it simply has a botched touch interface. The Castle Link requiring a PC is superior in every measure, and orders of magnitude faster. I don’t wane to lug around a laptop, but there are PCs smaller than that which can be made to do the job. Plus, datalogs are much easier to read this way.

Every since the update. It won’t go
Past the loading (1 of 6) screen. I let it sit there for 2 hours and it didn’t load anything. Will update rating when app is fixed.
