Castmanor: AI Characters

Castmanor is where adults talk with AI characters who remember them. MEET SOMEONE WORTH COMING BACK TO Browse a large collection of original characters across fantasy, mystery, horror, crime drama, adventure, slice of life and friendly helpers. Find one by genre, mood or name. Each has its own voice, way of talking and backstory. WATCH, THEN TALK Watch short vertical episodes starring the characters. When the cliffhanger hits, tap “Talk to …” and the character keeps the story going with you in chat. THEY REMEMBER YOU Characters keep notes about you and your story together: your name, the people you mention, your plans, your running jokes. Next time, they ask how the interview went. Open a character's Memory page to read what they remember, correct it or delete it. TEXT THEM OR CALL THEM Chat by text, tap to hear any reply in the character's own voice, or start a live voice call and just talk. Replies appear as they're written. Swipe for another version of a reply, edit your last message or rewind the scene. THEY CAN MESSAGE FIRST A character may message you first in the app, often about something from your last conversation. If you say yes to notifications, you get an alert too. It happens at hours that suit you and never in your quiet hours. You can switch it off for one character or for all of them. BRING A CHARACTER YOU ALREADY KNOW Coming from another chat app? Paste a conversation or upload screenshots of it. Castmanor reads the chat, builds a new character in the same spirit and continues the story where it stopped, with the history and the memories carried over. You can also describe someone new in your own words, or answer a few questions about the person you want to meet. YOU STAY IN CONTROL - Adults only: Castmanor asks for your age and is for people 18 and older. - Edit or wipe what characters remember about you at any time. - Export your chats and memories, or delete your account, from Settings. - No ads, and your data is not sold. - Voice calls are optional. The audio is processed live and not saved, and a text transcript of the call stays in your chat. - If a message sounds like you are in crisis, Castmanor shows help lines, such as 988 in the US, and the character answers with care. GOOD TO KNOW Castmanor is made for stories and company. Romance is optional and never explicit. Characters can be dark, funny, sweet or tense. HOW THE AI WORKS Castmanor uses a third-party cloud AI service to write replies and to hear and speak in voice calls. Your messages, your voice during calls and each character's notes about you are sent to that service for this. You can turn this off in Settings, and Castmanor then pauses until you agree again.
