Ripoff Review, fair warning: it is kinda huge.
Beware jokes too. Cat Goes Fishing should be deleted! Jk, this 🗑️ is called “Cat Fishing Simulator”, how is it even in the adventures and simulation charts? Anyways it was clearly stolen from a game I like, if you don’t already know, it stole many main assets like cats, sonar, fishing, etc. Cat5Games is the owner of the real cgf, if you don’t know, cgf is short for Cat Goes Fishing, hope you remembered. Giant Fish is the owner of this app. So can you tell the difference between their pictures? Probably not. Because they stole the logo and changed it. And the cat? It looks like it got into a dishwasher and then a washing machine and then an oven. The creator probably saw the game and thought: “Maybe if I copy and add more stuff, it might get more famous!” *proceeds to copy and add more stuff*. Yeah, they added cat skins, a fishnet, more maps, line upgrades, fish animations(some fish do have animations now in cgf like blinking Cowfish), and…MONEY SHOPS?! yeah, they literally added money shops, while the real cgf has NO INGAME PURCHASES. Yeah, only dust is buying those. And the positive reviews? They probably didn’t even realize it, or potentially even fake, but we are not sure. Cat Goes Fishing costs $6.99, while this dishwasher game costs one dollar less. It is probably dead because it last updated 3 years ago, while cgf is still likely active even though it last updated in July 28th, 2024. I knew it was a ripoff, but I decided to test, they were correct, it was extremely doodoo. Also, you don’t start at a boat, you start at shore, and then a boat. And you can technically catch every fish with the worst rod, not you need the best rod to catch the best fish. Though, the best rod is still recommended. And the items are too cheap if they were in cgf, but early rods would be overpriced. Line upgrades don’t exist. It only upgrades if you have a better rod or the Explorer hat. Cat skins don’t exist, and they probably would never. And you can move the boat while your hook is in the water, but not in this ship. They even stole sounds, like the reeling, the fish hooking(which means rod upgrades in cgf), and the selling sound. Also why are the maps useless. It is very hard too progress too, but it is harder to progress than the real cgf in my opinion. How do you even get boats? It is much smaller with 63 fish while cgf has *sighs* 264 fish. If you like this game as your favorite…idk what to say, Well this is all for now, there is a lot more things but I will end here.
