Version 2 doesn’t work on original
I have an original catalyst 60 amplifier. The original catalyst software version 1.0 worked wonderfully. Unfortunately, when version two came out, I updated to that. Since then, the modulation affects do not work properly. Every time I turn the amp on, it only goes to digital delay, and I cannot access any other modulation effects. I am unable to download a software version 1.0 of catalyst edit anywhere.

Catalyst edit app
Quirky, inconsistent and unpredictable to save settings. Saved settings won’t sync to device. Volume changes on its own and selector knob goes where it wants to.

I love this app and the simple functionality of it to fine tune my Catalyst amps. I own two 200’s and a CX 100. I love how I can just create my sounds and tone on one amp and or any adjustments, back it up and download it in to my other Catalyst models from my phone or my MacBook in seconds. I always have my sound with me. I sold off all my tube amps and went purely Catalyst and a Helix floor. I love that I can use the bias settings to bias the Catalyst like a tube amp the tones are endless. A child could run this app and the amp with ease.

Settings not displaying correctly now
This app used to be great, but lately (as of April 2024) when ever I hook my iPhone and app up to my Catalyst 60 all my effects which were saved on the amp correctly display as ‘simple delay’ and ‘vintage delay’ on the app, every single preset, every bank, every channel. Major bugs and function issues now. The app is useless if I can’t even tweak and save amp setting now as it all defaults to simple and vintage delay only on the app. Very disappointing.

Iphone xs Max
I was led to believe that i could use this app on my iphone to edit the parameters on my Catalyst Guitar Amplifier but there is no way to hook the app in the phone to the amp and so then why does this app even exist i have tried to find out about it on the internet and there is nothing this makes no sense !

Excellent
This is the first amp interface I have used that is actually excellent. Have tried Boss and Fender and found both lacking. I was happily surprised the minute I opened it and connected to my Catalyst. It’s well thought out, easy to use and not buggy. I like that I don’t have to jump through hoops such as connecting BT, registering or logging in.

iPhone 13 Pro
Nobs on screen don’t turn all the time or not at all. The bars on your other app adjust great but tech said it’s not for the catalyst amp. More choices for the update please.
