Love this app but
I have been playing this game on my iPad for years and I love it. However, in the past year I’ve noticed that the game now constantly crashes. Like I can’t get through a single game without it crashing at least 2 or 3 times. I don’t have this problem with any other apps on my iPad. I’ve updated it, I’ve de/re-installed it, nothing seems to fix the problem. It’s a shame because I’ve slowly stopped playing the game out of frustration.

Great way to learn Catan
I lost continually to my adult kids until I started playing on this app. I learned the rules and began to win.

it always bugs out or is straight up broken. it randomly switches to dutch to try and reset the password. goes non responsive. hands down most broken app award winner.
Amazing rolls AI is stacked
Amazing how you can lose all resource's in two plays. Ai rolls 7, blocks your 8. Steals from you, next player plays knight steals from you, next player plays monopoly cards cleans out what is left. Then you roll an 8. And then next 3 rolls are 8. Just when you are about to win, someone plays 3 VP points. They must have unlimited of those and knight cards

Cheats so bad....
Don’t waste your time.
Very unrealistic and not fun to play
People have been complaining about the algorithm for this app for years, and it hasn’t gotten any better in all that time. I play Cities and Knights and the seafarers versions in real life and on this app, and this app is ridiculous. The number of wedding, saboteur, resource monopoly, deserter cards etc. is completely unrealistic. There are only so many of those cards in a real deck, and in a real game they come up infrequently. And, number of times you get robbed as soon as you acquire some assets is extremely improbable. There are games when I’ve been robbed three or four dice rolls in a row, with the bots moving the robber back and forth from one of my hexes to another one to another one etc.
In a real game, the likelihood of losing a city at the start of the game because you haven’t been able to get a knight on the board is very low, and on the app it happens all the time. In fact, I’ve played games where every player lost their city the first time the barbarians attacked, which would be almost impossible in a real game.
The developers should work on making the bots play a realistic game of Catan, instead of only being able to beat you by stealing all of your assets. It’s probably more work as far as coding goes, yet the game is still as unplayable as it was a few years ago.
I’m uninstalling it and not playing it anymore. If you decide to actually work on fixing it let me know and I’ll try it again.

The title says it all. I can no longer even start a game.
Unfair Dice Role
Please write better code for the dice role…..it is so far from random. I have played this game too much and the “lucky” anomalies that happen in favor of the AI are far too frequent to be random. I am big fan of Catan and I am at the point of deleting the App because it just isn’t an enjoyable experience to have the “AI” working against you time and time again in a way that just isn’t fair. Stop stacking the deck!

Garbage AI
This is impossible to play against the bots. No matter where you place your houses, the numbers that roll will not be yours. 11’s and 9’s will roll constantly if that’s where the bots are. No point in looking for high frequency numbers, they will not be rolled. Garbage app.
Wish I could attach the screenshot of the endgame, where 11's rolled constantly. One bot was up to 46 resources and didn't know what to do with them. I received 2 resources in about 8 rolls.

Expansions Disappearing?
I have had access to and enjoyed this game for years and years. I also have all the expansion packs. Suddenly I can’t access Cities and Knights. What gives? I don’t want to have to go back to Catan Universe. This version is way more usable.
Weird non-functional screen
Sometimes after playing for 20-30 minutes the trade, build or card screens are only an outline or not at all visible. This is an older bug and should be fixed!
Awesome game
Love playing Catan. One issue is on my iPad you can’t see how many Development cards are left (icons cover the total) so I will do trades to buy one then find out there aren’t any available and are then left with cards I don’t want or need. Besides that it’s great.
I want my money back
This game does not let you login and I have gone in circles trying to figure out how to add a friend yet it just reroutes me to log in and I had to verify my email and it flagged it as spam and made me active with clicking a link
WHY IS IT GERMAN
Spent the last hour trying to just log in and it kept saying I already had an account WHICH I DONT and kept sending me sketchy emails with weird links. I finally got logged in and as I was trying to set up a game, I got logged out. IT ALSO KEEPS SWITCHING TO GERMAN
Long term bugs
Sure why they won’t fix this. For example at a certain point in the game you will not be able to see your cards. You have to exit out, continue game will send you the blank screen and reload the whole app

Enjoy this game but it does crash quite a bit particularly when trading
