Would be excellent but the app asks to reconfirm GDPR every few days and, when it does, all historic data is lost and settings go back to default

Glitchy
This app can be very frustrating. Logging in fails or just hangs far too often. It has skipped players, no dice roll just on to the next. In one game it glitched and my settlement had been changed to another player, right in the beginning. I ended up just having one of my picks. The other player had one of mine plus their two.
It also doesn’t always give you your resource when the dice roll shows one of your numbers.
I haven’t seen any updates so I doubt anyone is working on these issues.
When things work well it’s decent.
Update: new glitches. Skipped my turn completely, did not credit my use of the knight card, costing me a game, still freezing.

Doesn’t work well
Many bugs and glitches. Doesn’t always display rankings at end of game, dice rolls are not random and the option menus do not consistently work.

Ich liebe diese Spiel, als Brettspiele und jetzt auch auf dem IPad und auf dem Handy. Nur leider stürzt das Spiel immer wieder ab und ich kann keine Siedlung bauen und versuche in dem Zug immer wieder die Siedlung zu platzieren, aber es tut sich nichts, außer das die Zeit abläuft und ich keinen Einfluss habe was dann natürlich als Nächstes passiert.
Das ist jedes Mal wirklich ärgerlich!!!
Alles schon ausprobiert, aus logen und wieder einloggen usw. hilft leider oftmals alles nichts. Dann gibt es einpaar Tage da klappt alles gut und dann geht der Ärger wieder los.

Very fun but Buggy and glitchy
So much room for improvement. They need to add ranked play match making. They need to add chat. The game now makes you sign in every single time which is inconvenient when you get booted and have to log back in. These are easy fixes. Game freezes and restarts a lot.

Love this app but
I have been playing this game on my iPad for years and I love it. However, in the past year I’ve noticed that the game now constantly crashes. Like I can’t get through a single game without it crashing at least 2 or 3 times. I don’t have this problem with any other apps on my iPad. I’ve updated it, I’ve de/re-installed it, nothing seems to fix the problem. It’s a shame because I’ve slowly stopped playing the game out of frustration.

Great way to learn Catan
I lost continually to my adult kids until I started playing on this app. I learned the rules and began to win.

it always bugs out or is straight up broken. it randomly switches to dutch to try and reset the password. goes non responsive. hands down most broken app award winner.
Amazing rolls AI is stacked
Amazing how you can lose all resource's in two plays. Ai rolls 7, blocks your 8. Steals from you, next player plays knight steals from you, next player plays monopoly cards cleans out what is left. Then you roll an 8. And then next 3 rolls are 8. Just when you are about to win, someone plays 3 VP points. They must have unlimited of those and knight cards

Cheats so bad....
Don’t waste your time.
Very unrealistic and not fun to play
People have been complaining about the algorithm for this app for years, and it hasn’t gotten any better in all that time. I play Cities and Knights and the seafarers versions in real life and on this app, and this app is ridiculous. The number of wedding, saboteur, resource monopoly, deserter cards etc. is completely unrealistic. There are only so many of those cards in a real deck, and in a real game they come up infrequently. And, number of times you get robbed as soon as you acquire some assets is extremely improbable. There are games when I’ve been robbed three or four dice rolls in a row, with the bots moving the robber back and forth from one of my hexes to another one to another one etc.
In a real game, the likelihood of losing a city at the start of the game because you haven’t been able to get a knight on the board is very low, and on the app it happens all the time. In fact, I’ve played games where every player lost their city the first time the barbarians attacked, which would be almost impossible in a real game.
The developers should work on making the bots play a realistic game of Catan, instead of only being able to beat you by stealing all of your assets. It’s probably more work as far as coding goes, yet the game is still as unplayable as it was a few years ago.
I’m uninstalling it and not playing it anymore. If you decide to actually work on fixing it let me know and I’ll try it again.

Online immer wieder mit Abstürzen
Ich mag diese App grundsätzlich sehr, doch stürzt sie im Onlinemodus so häufig ab, dass ich einige Spiele nicht beenden kann. Das ist unfassbar ärgerlich, da ja häufig auch schon einiges an Spielzeit investiert wurde. Ich nutze die App auf dem IPad.
Bekommt die App noch Updates? gibt es noch Entwickler die sich darum kümmern? Ich habe mal Geld dafür gezahlt und fände es sehr schade, wenn das weiterhin der Status bleiben würde. Würde mich sehr über eine Rückmeldung freuen!

Unfair Dice Role
Please write better code for the dice role…..it is so far from random. I have played this game too much and the “lucky” anomalies that happen in favor of the AI are far too frequent to be random. I am big fan of Catan and I am at the point of deleting the App because it just isn’t an enjoyable experience to have the “AI” working against you time and time again in a way that just isn’t fair. Stop stacking the deck!
