Glitched
Very much like playing Catan - except when it glitches and skips my turn or doesn’t let me use a resource or game does not automatically play my victory point development card and I end up losing my game.
Endless cheating. Statistically proven.
Catan’s AI is not difficult. It is poorly designed.
The statistical anomalies become especially pronounced when the human player takes the lead: repeated 7s, disproportionate Knight attacks, persistent robber targeting, and extended suppression of the player’s highest-probability numbers.
We use the game in our programming statistics class at my college specifically to map these patterns and demonstrate the difference between legitimate randomness and apparent algorithmic intervention.
Good AI wins through superior strategy. This engine appears to manufacture difficulty by manipulating outcomes and coordinating AI behavior against the human player.

Please update this game. There are quite a few bugs.
Terrible AI
This game is well designed but the AI is a JOKE!! Clearly the laws of probability don’t apply, don’t do well early in the game or the AI will target you.
Targeting AI Sucks
Game is great until the ai just plays robber over and over switching back and forth between your spaces and taking all your cards. Ruins the ability to win. Not worth $5.

I Love this game
Yes the computer cheets.. but it’s reminiscent of playing against my actual siblings - minus the board flipping. Love that I can log in and play a quick game and then come back to it later. I don’t have time to play IRL most of the time, so this allows me to play, without the wait. :) Thank you
Scam - not the real app - don’t buy
This one is no longer in development but they will sell you it for $5. Catan Universe is the real one

502 Bad Gateway
Since this morning I am seeing 502 bad gateway and looking no body is looking into it
Can’t even make an account to play online.
No matter the email or username I cannot register in order to play online, and I refuse to settle for rigged AI games with loaded dice. Don’t bother, there’s a free version that works fine.

Horrible
Never mind having to log in again every single time you go to a different page, you spend more time logging in than actually playing the game. On top of that, 80% of the time, online server connection fails or locks up.

Mediocre
I mostly play against the computer. The controls work fine, but the algorithm that the computer uses is horrible.
Glitchy
I find this game very glitchy. Every time I move the robber, the checkmark to confirm the robber placement doesn’t come up, and I have to restart the app in order to continue. But when I restart, it’s at the beginning of my turn again, so I don’t actually get to move the robber.
Now it’s glitching after I place my second settlement, again there’s no checkmark to confirm.
This is frustrating, considering I paid for the app.

It’s okay but
There are so many expansions that are locked, with no information on how to access them. I even paid for no ads several years ago and it didn’t unlock them. So I’m stuck playing the same few boards over and over. It gets boring
Great brain fun
I can play Catan during flights and it makes the time go so quickly. I love it!
AI ruined it
Used to be balanced and fun playing with Bots, until AI was clearly incorporated and ruined the gameplay. Strategic building no longer matters, as the high probability numbers will never roll (unless you share the tile with multiple opponents). I counted a game where 3s and 2s rolled more frequently than 8s and 6s. Giving up a number to build on a port will also not matter, as that number will never roll. Even if a bot has the highest number of points and you’re stuck at 3, other bots will use all their knights on you. Went from fun to infuriating.
