Higher difficulty = rigged dice
I love Catan, but wish the higher difficulties meant the AI played smarter, not simply just gave them more resources. They allow you to see the distribution of dice roles per game, and the game will actively roll the numbers you don’t have as often as possible on higher difficulties. You can demonstrate this by settling on all but one number, and all of a sudden there will be a huge spike in the dice distribution. When the AI needs a resource locked by a number you have, it will then place the robber on you then roll that number. Feels like lazy programming imo.

Buggy
When a players time runs out it gets buggy and you can’t play.
Glitchy
The game doesn't work as intended: interactive features are worthless, progression leads nowhere ('suns' which give access to unpurchased games, don't regenerate every 12 hours as the games says, and bot glitches abound. Skip it.

Seems like every other game you get stuck not being able to connect at some point that essentially ends the game. You can leave and rejoin but generally that does not restore the connection and people just continually time out.

I am super disappointed. I’ve had this app and extensions. I’ve played it almost every day for the last several years. And all of a sudden this new update or whatever they did and I cannot get into my account. I’m very very upset.
Too many bugs
Alright,
I am going to start this off by stating it’s a fun game and the trade system is good.
But there are WAYY too many bugs and I mean way too many.
For example,
I was just kicked from a game (I’m assuming I was kicked because now when I try to rejoin it doesn’t even load).
Before I was kicked I was waiting on blue (two turns before me) it kept resetting their timer and I asked the chat for the game who’s turn it is for them and they all said mine…. I was like haha nice so my app is stuck on blue while everyone gets to play on.
Completely ruined my set up and I was basically kicked from the game without me knowing while being in the lobby WAITING FOR MY TURN!
This happens pretty often where the game will literally delay to the point that you can only just sit back and watch the board while nothing happens then when you try and close out and rejoin it won’t even load in (probably because it replaced you with a bot)
This moves me to the next issue that is the worst one: THE BOT BUG
The bots will literally sit there and nonstop send offers on their turns if someone leaves and it replaces them, they will flood everyone with trades and even if someone tries and accepts to hurry up and get the turn to pass, the bot won’t accept from its end and just continue to send trade propositions. The worst part is the bots timer resets every time they propose a trade to everyone: this means you will be stuck in a loop that the bot literally will keep doing for minutes on end sometimes to the point to everyone just leaving the game because the bot will not pass the turn…
Oh yea there’s more bugs but those are the worst two I have faced.
Mind you these bugs happen far too often and you’re more than likely to be affected by one of the two every game you face hahaha. Terrible I know but you won’t understand how blood boiling it truly is until you decide to download this game and see the pain for yourself.
Let me tell you, this app really will train and test your patience levels with the amount of infuriating bugs it has.

randomly loses connection halfway through game and wont reconnect. Then penalizes you for losing game
Potential. But bad
This game has potential. The aesthetics and gameplay and everything is nice, but the online mode sucks, and it gets old playing against bots who clearly team up on you when playing solo. Every online match I have played first of all takes forever to find a lobby, people then take forever to use their turn, and then inevitably people leave and they get replaced by a bot that then crashes the game. Once the devs figure out this bug it will be great but right now don’t waste your time or money.

Crashes wayyy too damn much
I’ve been playing with a group of four for about a month now, and the game has become incredibly frustrating due to constant crashes. Out of 20+ attempts, I think we’ve only been able to finish about five matches. We all purchased the full game, so this is really disappointing.
Today it crashed again, and now all four of us are stuck on the loading screen with no way to continue. Judging by other players’ experiences, this seems to be a widespread issue.
The gameplay is fun when it works, but these crashes are making it nearly impossible to enjoy. Please prioritize fixing the stability issues.

I hate the upgrades
Every other time there’s an upgrade, I’m left without access to the game. I am trying to do everything it tells me like redo my password but it tells me it will send me a link. I has not sent me a link.

I use to be able to play “solo” against the bots. Which was fast and without poor sports. Why the change?
Worst app best game
If you play on a phone good luck, switching from WiFi to cell service, game ends every single time, walk too far away from good WiFi connection, game ends. It’s not good at reconnecting you. In 1000 games I’m disconnected in 1/5. It’s trash. But I love the game
Can’t get into game
The loading screen says new game version available but there is no update. So we can’t get in to the game at all despite paying for the upgraded levels.
Bugs often
The game itself is fun, when it works. But between freezing and lockouts and asking for updates that don’t exist, it can be a bit frustrating.
