Who really needs a map generator. Most people don’t have two friends who are willing to site down with u every week for 1 1/2 hours to play Catan!!!!
Rip Off!
I already paid for this "pro" version of the app which does. Or include all of the content. You still have to purchase the scenarios for different expansions. Stay clear of this crap.

I purchased this App 2 years ago and it has not been updated to work with the current iOS.

Needs the option for gold on the seafarers! This is such a rad tool but I always include gold on seafarerers games, so I can't use this most of the time.
Still good but needs an update
We still use this to generate maps and it works well. However, it needs to be updated. Some options no longer appear since upgrading to iOS 8.
Solid
It's a solid map generator and keeps the board random and fair. It's exactly what it says it is.
Scam
First off there is no explanation of how to use. (I know it is not a game) some games require you to spend more money. It is constantly charging me money or has some bug where it says it is. I did not get the bill yet. Even after you spend money they still show ads.
All that said it does what it is supposed to do. I wish there was a better made app.

Very Dissapointed
When I bought this, I expected the game. I'd bet it isn't even endorsed by the makers of Catan. The makers of this app should be ashamed of themselves.
DONT BUY THE IN-APP PURCHASES!!!
The 'seafarers' expansions do not generate the sixth resource tiles in the map. What a waste of a dollar. DONT BUY THE IN-APP PURCHASES
Great generator
Not flashy, but most every game turns out balanced and challenging. Dice tool adds some interesting insights.
Poorly indicated
This app's real job was terribly indicated. I'd get my money back if I could. I expected the game, not a mere mapmaker. Really. I've played this game on the tabletop. Is an app really needed to make a map!?

Great helper app
This is a great helper app for the Catan board game. This app generates random board layouts for the game, and it allows for customization of certain options to provide a more balanced layout for all players enjoyment. A great idea and a better app.

My fault
I didn't read the reviews before I bought it. I thought it was the real game, but it only generates the board for you and keeps track or what numbers are being rolled. Very bummed!

This app is awesome! & I knew exactly what I was paying for when I bought it, unlike others on here I suppose. I play six player Catan on almost a weekly basis and this really helps us mix it up! I'm also giving it five stars because I had a few questions for the designer which responded the same day. If you want to shake up your Catan game, then this is the app!

Just a map generator
This is not the game, this is just a map generator. Once you understand what you are getting, this is a delightful tool to support the board game.
