A Problem With Ads
I remembered this game from my childhood, and was so excited to play it again! One problem is that I noticed the ads seem to be outdated and old, and some of them may have been removed since anytime I try to watch an ad it freezes up my whole screen and stays like it until I completely exit the app and go back. It’s really hard to get gems because of this so I had to go with magnet fishing and hoping for pots of gems. I still love the game but I find it harder to progress with this.

If 1⭐️ means don’t download and 5⭐️ means a masterpiece this is a 2⭐️ here’s why (reasons until i hit cap or I run out of complaints)
It has potential to be a good game BUT
0 It’s way too MONEY HUNGRY
1 In order to fish there is a timer
2 the timer get vastly longer each time you fish
3 the upgrades cost too much gold or gems
4 gold and gems are hard to get
5 the mini games don’t give you enough coins and I haven’t gotten a single gem from them
6 you get about 20 coins per fish but the second upgrade is 5,000
7 you can unlock more fishermen but the first one is 80 gems and I’ve gotten a total of three from free to play
8 you have to level up many times before being able to buy new bait but you need to catch a lot of fish just to get one level and I’m only level 6
9 the mini games are fun for 1-2 plays at most
10 you can tap the fish you’ve caught as they move around in a fish tank but they will give you a coin after 5-10 taps and that’s it
11 there are challenges that give you coins but you only get one at a time, the reward is 30-50 coins and the challenge can be something like tap fish 150 times (which is boring) NOT WORTH
12 when you tap a fish it pushes in the direction most opposite of your tap which can push it off screen
13 the art is nice and creative

It’s fun for the time your fishing but gets super boring when you have
It is fun for the first time fishing and the timer is short but after you catch about 5 more fish the time is about an hour just to wait for something that takes a couple seconds. Overall it’s fun to see the different fish. The legendary fish are fun to catch. I love seeing the cartoon characters and puns for the fish.

Hi! I love this game a lot but I dislike that every time you go fishing they make the time longer until you get a fish just stick to one time and one that you don’t have to wait so long! The characters to get a new one are really expensive I would okay if it was 50 diamonds but 80 is a lot! There isn’t a lot to do in this game other than wait or play mini games but those get boring after a while and another thing it would be cool if you view other peoples tanks and rate them I’m looking forward to seeing more updates in the future and I hope you also add more fish and it would be awesome if you could add accessories that you can buy using coins for your fish! I hope you read this and I would LOVE to hear your response on hear or even better in the game!

Ummm....😒
When I first got this game it seemed really exciting because I thought it would be like a surprise fishing game or whatever. But when I started playing,it told me to swipe up no big deal then it made me do it again I thought the controls were unpleasant which took the three stars out of the five I could have posted, the other one star that could have been added was it was just plain out BORING.😞😢 It was just not the type of games I like. But I gave you one star just for trying and trying to make a good concept of a game. But I liked the graphics which was cute and fun🤪😌. Sorry for being so harsh🥵Hope you don’t take this review too personal because everyone has their opinions.

Love love love this game for me it is the best game ever if the ratings went up to infinity I would rate it infinity stars who ever made this game should be proud I love all the cute fish whoever made this game is amazing my favorite fish is the toilet paper fish super funny again I love all the cute funny fish also when the cat doesn’t catch a fish or his line brakes he looks so sad and then I feel bad for him also the cat is so so so so cute I also think the music is so good and I Just love the music I Love this game so much I can’t even explain all my love for this because this is not even half of my love for this game!!!!!!

Awesome but,
I love this game so much! I just got it recently and it’s super fun! It’s very weird and creative, the only thing is that there are some glitches, for example, when I would play a game, I wasn’t able to see my fish or move them, but other wise it is a very fun game and I play it a lot! Also, when I would press pause it wouldn’t let me go back to catching the fish.I had to keep tapping my screen! Thank you for reading and plz fix this soon! 😃

OMG I love this game! This is literally my favorite game ever, and I didn’t even have to pay to play! It’s awesome! I love just watching the fish swim around! Their so cute! I love catching fish because of the excitement that you get when you get a new fish. Though I would really like if the events were longer then 24 hours... other then that this is a GREAT game and I would highly recommend it to others.

Game is good, cute graphics, I enjoy the aquariums, I also enjoy all my fish dashing across the screen when your logo goes by.
Heads up though, it took me 6 hours of watching ads to hit VIP status. I’m not complaining, but maybe put a limit on the amount of ads you can watch? I binge watched like 380 something ads while playing other games/watching tv, there was no incentive to make purchases to get VIP.
Also, a typo I found. When you earn VIP, the text goes from saying “earn VIP and collect rewards 2000 left” or something like that, then it says “you’re a vip member, now to and tell YOU’RE friends.”
It should be “your”.
Otherwise, good stuff. Good game.

Too much tapping and swiping
There is way too much tapping and swiping for no reward in this game. You must do a series of taps and swipes as the game directs on screen to catch a fish. The swiping goes on forever, and hurts your fingers after a while. And even though you preform the series of taps and swipes perfectly your line snaps - every. single. time. It lets you catch one fish during the tutorial and then that’s it, line snaps after that every time and you must watch an ad or purchase more coins with real money in order to repair your broken line.
This game could be so much fun, but instead it’s ruined by unfair gameplay in the name of greed and poor game mechanics. If these items were fixed it would easily be a five star game. However as it is this game deserves zero stars. Deleted.
Very highly do not recommend wasting your time on this. There are other - and more fair and fun - cat themed fishing games on the App Store!

Bugs
When I wanted to extend my event for another 24 hours when I wanted to click the video to explain it I didn’t work and then I saw that it said I had 23 Hours and 58 minutes so I just clicked no because I thought I had more time to do the event and I couldn’t care any of the thing hours and 58 minutes so I just clicked no because I thought I had more time to do the event and Only got to fish in the drastic event and I’m really upset worst glitch ever

Could be phenomenal
This game is wonderful but the crazy times absolutely ruin it. It takes longer and longer to catch any fish so you really cant play but at a time. Then theres the HUGE issue with events. They are only 24 hours! There is no way for an average player to complete an even in a day especially when you can only catch one fish every 30 min. I was excited for the Jurassic event but after i saw it was only a day, I deleted this game. Maybe i will return once the insane wait time and short event times are fixed.

This new update screwed stuff up
Catfish is a great game. It’s a nice little casual game that I can play a few times a day and work towards catching all the fish. I loved the soccer event and I extended it a few days with ads and played a lot more than I usually did in order to catch all 16 event fish. I had fun with that and I love being able to look at the soccer tank and seeing all of the fish there. However, there’s some problems with the new update that just released. I’m excited for the new Jurassic event, but I’m unable to even look at the event tank. It also messed up what legendary fish I have in my fish catalog. I had two regular legendaries and the soccer event legendary, but now the game says I don’t have any of those and that I have 4 different legendary fish instead. Whenever I try and look at them or look at the new event tank the game freezes and I have to restart the app. I honestly love this game, but until they fix this I’m gonna have to give a negative review. The update just came out though, so hopefully they’ll patch it soon.

Love this game!
EDIT: I was so excited for the soccer update! It makes for some fun new fish. But one glitch with the new update that I noticed is that all my coins disappeared. Before, I had 50,000+ coins, but now it says I have zero. Also, why does the soccer event only last for 24 hours? I love the World Cup, and so I was upset when I couldn’t catch all the soccer fish. It gave me the option to extend the event for another 24 hours if I watched an ad, which I did, but then after watching the ad, the game told me that the event had ended anyway. 😿
Original review: I love CatFish! I don’t have any complaints! The little blue cat is so cute and the fish are so fun and unique. The fishing itself is the perfect level of difficulty, not too hard or too easy. It’s especially exciting when you catch a really big fish. I also enjoy playing the mini games and just watching the fish in my collection swim around. I would highly recommend this game to anyone!

This game is awesome, but some suggestions
Hi. This is an awesome game, and I recommend you buy it, but I want to request something to the devs. First, when you are at the point in the game where you have multiple cats, make it so that they have random conversations with each other, and that all the cats would have a different dialogue and personality. I think this would be a great idea, and they could say stuff like; “I wonder what’s going on down there...” and stuff like that. I just think this would kinda give an update for the cat characters and stuff. Also, can you please, please, pleeeeease adjust the treasure/coins/gems ratio when fishing with magnets? I get WAAAAAY too many coins. Thanks for reading, and please consider my ideas.

So cute!
I love that this game doesn’t require me to always be on it. The graphics are cute and I’ve always been a fan of that flat, cut-out style. However, I have noticed some bugs, and I wish there was a good place to report them. Also, I’ve caught a few legendary fish multiple times, and I don’t think they give you as much money as you should get when you sell them. It doesn’t really explain what bonuses the special baits and cats give you, so I’m not even sure if it’s worth it to use the more expensive bait during different times of day because it doesn’t feel like it’s helping me collect in any way.

Great game!
I’ve had this app for about a week now and I absolutely adore it! Super charming characters and fish. One thing I would add is a way to sync your progress. I wouldn’t want to lose my collection if I lost/switched devices! Perhaps an option to connect to Facebook could work. It could save your progress. Another bonus could be that you could see your friend’s fish as well!

I love this game because the graphics are very good, and the fish/cats are adorable. My only concern is the more fish you get, the harder it is to get new fish to complete your collection. You should create a store where you can buy a fish that you haven’t caught yet for a certain amount of coins/gems.

I love this game! The fish are funny and creative. I only have two concerns. First off is how many times in a row you get the same fish! I keep getting the fish I already had over and over again. Once you get a lot of fish it's hard to get new fish. The second concern is about the coin and gem fish I've gotten the coin fish too many times instead of getting a new fish. I at least want them to appear in you aquarium so you know you caught them and, you can show it off to your friends. But other than that the game is GREAT but wish you guys can fix that problem.

This game has really good graphics and is relaxing and fun but there are a few problems: after you catch a fish and try to find more, it takes longer and will eventually be so long that you would barely play. I still play it but maybe you can do something about it.
