October 7, 2026

Outside the USA, we have added the Revised New Jerusalem Bible to the list of translations available for the readings in the Liturgy of the Hours. There has been no change to the translations used for the readings at Mass.

Daily texts

Full text for the Liturgy of the Hours and Mass readings. The Liturgy of the Hours uses the Jerusalem Bible and the Grail psalms. The Mass readings are the same, except for the USA and Philippines, where they use the New American Bible translation.

Wonderful spiritual aid

Been a user since almost its inception. Not just the office of the hours but the Rosary and much more. A years cost of just under £28 for all this spiritual treasure truly is a gift. You can even have audio to listen if you are unwell and need to rest in bed. Shalom & God continue to bless your ministry 🙏🙏

One stop Catholic Shop for true prayer and meditation

Thanks Martin for an exceptional service at my fingertips. About today, lectionary, prayers of the church (all seven), spiritual reading, weekly educational and inspiring podcast. God Bless you for your effort of love and service to the Catholic faith.

My favourite app

I’ve been paying for this app for about 6 years and don’t feel it. I love the calendar. It’s helped me during Easter services too as I’m a sacristan and Easter can get very stressful with all the different things needing doing. It’s always there for me to pray the liturgy of the hours as well. I know universalis is a one time purchase but not sure if it has everything like Catholic calendar does. Thanks for maintaining this app, it’s very useful and helpful. It was the first one to tell me when we were getting new translation in England. 10/10
