The Word of The Lord
I heard about this app listening to Deacon Francis Vallier’s Sunrise Meditations from Enders Island on YouTube and it brought the Word of the Lord into my daily life, opening my eyes to the truth of the Lord and Salvation with Psalms and texts from the Scripture, Old Testament and New Testament, just as the Church reads every day. I find peace and exhilaration in the Word of the Lord. Praise be to God, and thank you Council of US Bishops for this wonderful app. I also get emails from USCCB and I love the Lectio Divina each week that come to my inbox every Wednesday. Good, except…
I’m sure there were prayerful decisions made when programming the Bible Chat feature, but be careful.. riding the fence is a slippery slope. Keep your focus on the Spirit and I’m sure it’ll be fine.

Catholic Daily Readings has begun running ads, some of which are promiscuous and all of which are inappropriate. Must everything be monetized?

The Old Testament is in The New Testament-Reavealed! I am so impressed by this! I am not Catholic and I am truly baffled that most Catholics do not read Catholic reading.

I enjoy this App, as when I wake each morning, I listen to the daily readings 2/3 times, then I open my physical Missal, so I have listened, absorbed and read God’s word, beginning my day with God’s spiritual bread and nourishment for my body, soul and spirit.
