Twice the app yielded a warning screen and tried to hold my phone hostage.
Bible in a year
Love this app when it is working properly. I like to listen to it when I’m working or on a walk. But for the past few days, the headphones icon disappeared and I have not been able to use audio. Rebooted, checked everywhere and have tried to get help from app but so far no luck on any! So basically it is pretty useless to me right now!

This app is overall very good but for some reason some features don’t work on my iPod I don’t know if they work on phones and tablets but they don’t work on my iPod but the actual Bible is very nice though I would still recommend

Poorly designed
If you are using this to find specific passages of scripture, this is not the app. There are no labels for the books;,just random numbers. I immediately deleted it.
No off line copy
I expected this IPhone/ Catholic Bible app to have off line capabilities. It does not. Therefore, when I am traveling abroad I am forced to read the King James version on a separate app. Also this version has annoying ads that continue to pop up.
What is this supposed to be?
I was thoroughly disappointed by this. Not because I hate the Bible, but because this app seems to be a remake of an AI aneurism. The app looks 2010 and when I looked into the quiz section it didn't actually have one and made me suspicious that the developer wasn't actually English speaking. And when I went to see some quoted it just kicked me off the app and didn't let me back on, and as it is less responsive than a toxic ex I don't know why. And mostly it really is difficult to find most of the books, like many other reviews say, the book of Luke seems to have gotten cold feet and left like Judas after the betrayal and isn't included in this apps cannon. As well as that many of the New Testament books appear to be much older in this app as they are in the old testament section.

Complicated
I wanted the Bible to read. This one presents you with the first chapter of Genesis. It requires a PhD to figure out how to access the gospel of Luke. I gave up and will try other Bibles.

When using audio the first thing the narrator says the verse are from the King James Version

Inappropriate Quotes
This app contains inappropriate quotes and pictures in the “Quotes” section which appear not to be monitored. This needs to be addressed asap and I hope the app developers see this review.
Example: Quotes /Attitude section contains pics of hoodlums with Guns “my attitude depends on the people in front of me”.

Not a catholic version

NOT ACTUALLY 5 STARS!!!!!!
So….the app is great and all. It functions well and it has nice study features. BUT!!! This specifically says that this is a CATHOLIC Bible, but it’s actually the KJV version. This is important because it omits several books in the Catholic Bible. I ask that you change this because it’s not right and I can’t read the full Bible…if the full Bible’s not available :(
