No updates since I first used the app. Could look better. Just saying. Works great though. Would recommend to a friend.
White text light background?!?!
Good app except if you do make notes you can’t read them as the text colour is not changeable… it’s white on a light background…. Might as well not make notes
Voice
The audio voice is horrible, there are no choices.
Disappointed
I have been using this app for sometime now. I enjoy reading and listening to The Word. I paid for it before and now I am being asked to pay again. The app runs quickly through the reasons and I am not able to understand what is said.
Bible presentation
I’m not bothered about the audio. The Bible is colourful. Green paragraphs, red title, blue numbers at the beginning of each paragraph.the option of fonts in name & size.
Good enough for me. The book of sirach ( Ecclesiasticus) is there, most bibles don’t have it.Sitach must be read, it covers every area of your life a crucial read The main thing it is a app, I can read anytime discreetly.
the whole world doesn’t need to know you read a bible or that you are Christian, you keep that to yourself. Well done I am pleased with this app

I would prefer to read the Bible without having adds flicking across the bottom of the screen. It is anything but helpful to concentration on the Word.
Good layout
DMMM Very easy to read and access particular passages. Is it possible to include NJB footnotes which are excellent in printed NJB Bible?
Poor voices
This app would be so much better if it was read by human voices not a computer generated voice that puts the inflections in the wrong place and mispronounces things. As it is it’s ok there’s a lot of voices to choose from and you can alter the speed to suit your ear. There is a gap in the market for a well spoken audio catholic Bible please fill it before someone else does, you have a great app apart from this.

I paid for the audio upgrade but it doesn’t work. Very disappointing.

I love it but.....
I’m in love with this app but I don’t like the way the notes are highlighted and my notes stopped working in the book of Joshua.

Nice app, although it would be nice to have a highlighter feature and not such a robotic voice. I would read it for you if you like! I do like the app otherwise!
Review
Love having the Bible available all the time. I use my iPhone and it is difficult to find the books and chapters. They are hidden and I have to guess.
Very Handy
I have everything that i need in this app. I seldom read the actual bible but just using this app to read bible and pray. I can mark the last pages i read yesterday and continue from that page the next day. As it os an app and on the mobile, i don’t need light if i m on the bed at night after all lights switched off. I do love the reading of this version and it’s simple presentation. It might be the device I’m using, a smaller I pod, but I’m often unable to view the beginning chapters of the books. Also, it would be nice if at the index for selecting a Book if they were all visible. I’d rather have the need of scrolling further down with all the books visible for selection than have some hidden to save space.

I really like it that I can access the NJB through my gadget, but I would definitely prefer it comes with footnotes as well... thank you and keep it up!
Handy Bible App
This app was recommended by a Nun to me when the lockdown began on March 2020, my constant companion eversince. 9 months later, I finally gave in to write a review for this app - just so it will stop buggin’ me. The idea to be able to use a pen with this app like a real book would be cool.
Good translation clumsy user interface.
Allow a swipe to the left or right to move back and forth between chapters. The next button is way to small and not intuitive. Allow user to choose back ground. Sometime a verse turns yellow and I have no idea why or how to undo it.
