About

A game for cats: catch the mouse, the fish, the laser dot and the sparrow. Drawn in colors cats can actually see, with prey that learns your cat. Your cat isn't bored of playing. It's bored of prey it already solved. Cats are lightning-fast pattern learners. Most cat games move prey at a fixed speed with random turns — a clever cat cracks the pattern in a few rounds and walks away. CatHunt flips it: the prey learns your cat. ■ PREY THAT LEARNS The prey remembers your cat's favorite paw, strike direction and reaction time, and changes its escape strategy once it has seen enough of your cat's swipes. The better your cat gets, the trickier the prey becomes. All learning stays on this device — none of it is uploaded. ■ ZERO ADS DURING PLAY Ads never appear while your cat is playing. Ads appear only on screens meant for the owner, like app launch or after a session. Every second your cat plays is a clean hunting ground. ■ EVERY PREY HAS A REAL BEHAVIOR ENGINE Free forever: mouse, koi, moth, feather wand, bubbles (plus ants from Nov 15). Premium: laser dot, sparrow, gecko, scarab (plus water drop, firefly, balloon and jellyfish as they open). Each prey has its own habitat and behavior grounded in animal research. The gecko drops its tail when caught — the tail keeps wriggling and can be caught again. The scarab sometimes lands on its back and kicks its legs, and plays dead when caught — it can be caught again while it lies still. The sparrow really flies off screen and returns where you least expect. ■ NEW PREY ADDED OVER TIME Nature, bugs, toys and ocean take turns: a water drop, ants, a firefly, a balloon and a jellyfish are already scheduled and appear automatically on opening day. The home screen shows when the next one opens, and one tap sets a reminder for opening day. ■ DESIGNED FOR CAT VISION Cats see blue and yellow-green best; red reads as dark gray to them. The whole game is tuned to feline color science — even the five laser colors are honestly labeled by how well YOUR CAT can actually see them. ■ WIND-DOWN HUNT: FEWER 3AM ZOOMIES A 7-minute guided hunt that tapers in intensity, ends on a "give a treat now" prompt, then dims the screen. Chase → catch → eat → sleep: a complete hunting cycle that builds a wind-down ritual and cuts down the midnight crazies. ■ iPad IS THE HOME FIELD, NOT A STRETCHED PHONE The wide field has its own mechanics: place seed patches so the sparrow lands to peck, add burrows for the mouse, open crevices for the gecko, or add a second prey. Almost every field can be decorated — cardboard box, lily pads, curtain, rock ledge, vines, grass, yarn balls. ■ THE OWNER'S WAR ROOM Weekly hunt reports: sessions, playtime, hit rate, daily activity, and your cat's own peak hunting hours. Hunter ranks, milestone achievements, and one-tap share cards. ■ TOP PREY Right on the home screen, see which prey cats everywhere play most, ranked separately for free and Premium — tap to jump in (Premium prey need unlocking first). ■ FREE & PRO Free prey stay free forever, unlimited play. Unlock any Premium prey for 72 hours by watching one ad (owner-initiated, owner pages only), or buy Pro once: all prey forever + all ads removed. Either way: zero ads during play. ■ HONEST NOTES Every cat hunts differently — some need a few days to warm up. Built-in difficulty tuning (including an age setting) keeps their success rate up. A screen protector is recommended; tablets play best. Your cat deserves an opponent that improves.
