This app doesn’t have French verbs—they are Spanish

The app is mislabeled. This is practice for Spanish verbs and not French.

Needs some work

I like the cat theme. That in itself is engaging. Definitely has some bugs with iPhone X. For example: the verb is “appendre” and the results will be for “écouter.” Then once you pass the skill level, retrying that level, you get one conjugation, and it goes back to the road map. Basically freezes so you have to restart the app. Why can’t you change cats? ...and why do you ask for the “preterite” conjugation? In french it’s passé composé or passé simple (which is rarely used), so please be more specific!
