I want to search for specific causes I’m interested in yet there is no search feature.
App doesn't work
I have had this app for several years and originally linked it to my FB.
Now when I try to log on it just sends me into an endless loop.
I will be deleting it since I can't log on.
It's a shame cuz I loved the app.

Not what it was initially intended for
Originally this app was a great way to get an overview of current legislation, track how your representatives were voting on it, see what other people thought of the same legislation, and to contact your representatives with your opinions. It’s not just a rather mediocre news compiler, with none of the aforementioned functionality. Seems like they sold out to someone who gutted the concept.

Good intentions
This App has good intentions, but lately has been neglected, the information is outdated, and the app support is questionable! I had used the app in its previous release and it had one great feature, you could contact your US representative/ senator all in one action!
The new release would not let me reset my password and the tech support did not know how to do it manually! A great alternative to this sight is BlueSky!

Exciting reboot at the right time!
Our era of political and social turmoil seems to heighten the feeling of powerlessness and apathy. Causes is a welcome opportunity to get unstuck, learn about what is going on and how to help. Excited to see this community grow and its impact felt.
Stuck in the past
Have not seen an update since before the election! Did the staff quit? Nothing current posted for months!
Not great
Countable used to be a good mobile designed app that worked in app. Now the app constantly redirects you to webpages and you’re having to log back in or things don’t even work. Frankly going back to the original setup would be better unless the team is working overtime to get the app in its current form working

Can’t contact Reps
Got an error saying my reps can’t be contacted because there not in my country!? Weird bug. Makes a key function useless for me.
This is our voice
I love this app but, We needs to push the developer to publish the ability to rotate to type. And we’ve got to have a option to make conversation with our followers or whatever. I miss the old version of the app
Not Completely Unusable
This app is going through what seems like multiple identity crises. Not only the name change, but the entire formatting and content of the app. Countable was hard to navigate but clearly made for mobile and at least somewhat intuitive. This new thing, Causes, is neat but I have no idea what is going on. Idk what content it's even trying to serve anymore, it does not seem like it cares about bills as much as whatever the latest political news is. The app is super hard to navigate and is very unintuitive in its design; nothing makes sense. It's formatted all weird like it's some mobile/desktop hybrid webpage and is janky. What on earth happened here? If this was the official Causes update it is half-baked and needed another year or two in development. Why bother sending out emails? I can't get anything done on the app so fix that before you tell me what new shenanigans and tomfoolery our politicians are up to again.

Just a truck driver
This app goes to in depth from the get go although I appreciate the ability to understand the issues I would just like to be able to tell my representative on any given bill how I want them to vote and then I would like to know how they voted and how their constituents wanted them to vote keeping it simple for just us truck drivers

Just a bunch of articles
What happenes to the bills? I open the app and they thonk they’re cute making up quotes from the founders. All I see are news arricles? I giess it sold out to someone and they gutted it.
Countable?
Why doesn’t this app show the tally of those who agree or disagree with an issue?? It’s called countable but it doesn’t count. Truth is - a tally would show that most legislation that passes through the house & Senate is not widely supported by voters (as determined by countable). An earlier version of this app did provide the tally and it was removed!! Why?? Yet another inconvenient truth. DC does not represent the interests of constituents. Period.
I just rechecked the app and now it no longer lists the members of Congress and their contact information. Who is Washington decided to remove this feature. No the app is useless. Who are the developers & where is the accountability? Scam.

Where is the Rep voting history?
This looks like completely different app.
Used to be great
I liked when the app made it easy to see how every representative voted and the progress of different bills. But now it’s just a crappy website that does little more than just typing “news” into google
Content is Great, App Itself Needs Work
There is super good information on this app and it’s a great way to be informed and also participate and share your opinion in a meaningful way.
That said, the app itself is very clunky. Any time I try to back out of an article to the rest of the feed, it resets the page and I have to scroll all the way down again. Th software/programming needs to be improved

Used to be great
Loved the app for years but the latest update doesn’t make sense anymore. Used to be able to see what bills were being pushed to the house and senate, what the impact could be of said bill was passed or not and you could then chime in on your opinion and read the opinions of others. You can’t really do any of that now and I don’t see the point in having this app anymore

The new update has made it harder to see how my representatives have voted and now is a website within an app instead of an app
Countable was great; Causes is terrible
As others have said, this new “Causes” app is just a slow web site wrapper that’s extremely difficult to navigate efficiently. It’s absolutely terrible and removes everything that made Countable great.
I’m done waiting for these people to wake up and put it all back the way it was. I’m deleting my account and this app. Hopefully a competitor who’s shrewd enough to mimic Countable will come along someday soon.
