Fun but...

...almost impossible to finish. You get one chance to make it to the top. If you run out of fuel or get zapped by a laser the game is over and you gotta start from the bottom again. You can upgrade ship capabilities but still just one try to reach the top. It’s frustrating to put a lot of effort and time only to die when you get so far. Also it won’t save your position if you have to quit. If you close the app or if it’s force closed by iOS you have to start over again.

Non-tilt option, please.

Tilt controls harsh my mellow.

Wish I’d read the whole game description before buying.

If you too avoid tilt games, avoid this one until we get another interface option.

Until then, I deleted it.

Tilt only controls :(

I wish this game had touch to throttle thrusters for steering instead of tilting your phone. Also it doesn’t feel right to play this game vertically instead of turning your phone sideways to play. I hope the team can add this change.

Needs new input mode without tilt

For when you aren’t situated to be leaning left and right. Kind of a big deal for me and would love to suggest this to others but can’t without better control option. Also been abandoned by the dev but that wouldn’t be a big deal if they spent some time updating the controls.

Almost perfect lander style game!

This is a really fun game. The tilting is ok but sometimes I rather use buttons to control movement. It would make a great option as well as MFi control.

THE most overlooked game

The simplicity of this game is the best feature
Has so much content for its small game

Almost perfect...

I love the game other than the tilt controls. If just that simple problem was solved with touch controls it would make mine and some other peoples lives so much easier. Thanks!

Gotta like it

Relaxing, challenging and addictive

I have no bad thing to say about this app. Nothing I'd change at all. I'm not sure it's ever happened I couldn't at least suggest a change or addition etc. Retro feel done right.

Very nice retro-mechanics game.

Very nice. Love the soundtrack.

So simple, yet I keep coming back

Over eight years of buying/playing iOS games. There are certainly more feature-rich games out there, but the simplicity of this one draws me in and I keep coming back to play.

Pretty chill game.

My favorite part is the music. Second favorite is the gameplay. Ok switch those. Anyway, it's pretty cool! Nice feel to it. Smooth.

Almost perfection

This is a really great game but the only problem is Every time I go on my game a blue bar will load at the top then the game freezes and I can't play anymore. This is a really fun game and I don't know what causes the bug so be careful

Great game

Great little game. Pretty addictive.

The only problem I've had with it, I had to reinstall it twice: once due to an iOS upgrade, and once I'm not sure why it was stuck at startup.

One of those special games

Everything works smoothly. Everything is well-designed and well thought-out. Everything about this game is top notch.

Excellent

Great controls. Just enough challenge to keep you coming back and leveling up.

Just Enough Design

This is the type of game I wish I would have made. Easy to play with just enough design, gameplay, and atmosphere to make it fun, challenging, and attractive. I like that you have to start over from the beginning if you crash. I got this for free, but would happily have paid for it. Looking forward to more from this designer.

Simple and fun!

Minimal button learning, pausable, and upgrades. A great little game for hours of entertainment!

Awesome

So this app "went free" a while ago and I regret not paying for it! I feel like I scammed a great guy who makes great apps.

Cavernaut

A tilt control game that is spot on. That is rare. It's like the classic Lunar Lander, but with added goodness. The gameplay is very engaging. I find myself tilting with the ship in a collision close call. Collecting orbs for upgrades, collecting artifacts, and encountering different obstacles is the icing on the cake. Excellent job Jan Schoenepauck!
