A suggestion
I believe we are indeed fortunate to have access to the CBC.
Yet if I may I would like to suggest it would serve to aim a little higher.
For example only,
To give interview access not just to the often interesting point of view of defence lawyers in criminal cases.
But also, accord interviews ——-even of fair length to practising lawyers but at the same high level —-for the prosecution. To let the public have access to a real and scrupulous appraisal of the intent of law.

Epic UI Improvement
I wrote a review iterating a list of improvements I wanted to see in the UI. Coincidentally, the very next day an update was released addressing every single nit I had. The playlogs are now eminently usable.

Review
The current version completely covers the Lock Screen on iPhone when the app is open. This is unacceptable. If this is not fixed I will complain to Apple.

As a publicly funded entity, CBC should be required to provide well-researched, evidence-based, and balanced journalism please.

Insane update 7.6.1
Just updated, and now it doesn’t open at all unless I sign in. Every day I now must delete the app, re-download and install, and sign in or it just loads forever.

Streaming is glitchy
The streaming cuts out multiple times per day for several weeks now. Please fix! I am starting to revert back to listening on my old radio. Otherwise I did enjoy the app.

I could rewind in real time to catch the start of the show when I’m 10mins late like I can on the BBC’s version. Even being able to go back 15mins would be great!

Just updated and now it doesn’t open at all.

Easily switch regions, music, podcasts. The app is so clean and elegant. It’s ideal, really and I use it daily
Love CBC don’t like the app
The app you signing me out constantly, disconnecting from my Bluetooth it just generally does not function well. I do enjoy using it when it works well but that’s infrequent.
Still broken
Can’t change my default station. Always insists on going back to Ottawa. Plays news feeds from last time I listened often days ago
