Good info but slow to load
I’ve only had this for a couple weeks but I hope to do better. The app takes longer to load than my previous one. I’d prefer a landing page with the most useful info built in. The home page has high and low temps and you have to load another page for the hourly forecast. Again the load is slower than I think it should be. Upside is I think the forecast is more accurate.

ImAs a Gulf Coast native currently living in tornado country, I am grateful to have such a good app, with hour by hour forecasting and live weather radar. The meteorologists at CBS DFW are, in my opinion, the best from the four stations in the area, and I really like being able to pull up the most recent video on the app.
Recently there was a banner on this app saying it was being discontinued at the end of March 2023, and users were encouraged to download the CBS DFW news app. This has a watered-down weather section, with only videos and a general forecast. The DFW viewing area is massive, and a general forecast is useless. Lately, the banner advising that the app would be shut down is gone. I'm hopeful that the many bad reviews they received on the news app has made them change their mind.

The best weather app I have found
I’ve been searching for a great weather app for 20+ years. This is the best. The live radar allows real insight to what is happening NOW and exactly WHERE. The 72 hour “hourly forecast” is amazingly spot-on most of the time as is the 10 day overview. I do aerial photography, so accurate weather is very important to me. The pinpoint location feature really helps out. Try it, you’ll love it!

Best weather app
Don’t understand why this App is being removed. It’s the best. Already checked the weather portion of the CBS Philly app and it doesn’t compare to this one. My town which is on this App doesn’t come up on the CBS Philly app. Very disappointing that it’s being discontinued.
Moving to FOX 4 WAPP
I’ve loved this app, but just got a warning the app ends March 31. The FOX 4 WAPP is the same app, while the CBS replacement is nothing but news, temps, and rain likelihood, and I need my storm cells, so FOX 4 WAPP it is!

Best Meteorologists
CBSDFW 11 Meteorologists do give the most accurate weather reports for Northeast Texas. They have proven that. I love everyone that works there. News Anchors, Forecasters, Reporters etc. To me they are the most down to earth, caring, group I’ve seen on tv. I look forward to the news and weather everyday. God Bless all of you.

This has always been a great weather app, but it’s recently started showing a full day ahead on the daily forecast… i.e. tomorrow the low is 13, but it’s the FOLLOWING day on the app. I also deducted a star for no status bar weather display option.
Like it a lot, BUT…
I watch the video in the morning to get a refresher on the weather. Lately, when to touch the icon to play the forecast nothing happens. I can move the icons up and down and all other functions but can’t activate the video of the weather person. Also, the end of Brittany’s forecast frequently gets cut off and that’s annoying to the point I’m looking for another weather app.

It’s great during the week. I would like to see updated weather videos on the weekend. They broadcast weather on Saturday and Sunday mornings on TV, but do not include those in videos on the app.
