Worth keeping even though I don’t live in the Twin Cities anymore
is more accurate to my location and quicker and easier to get the information I need than any of the other weather apps I’ve used more accurate and useful radar and tracking than the main national maps responds better
Travel conditions!
This app helped us so much while we traveled in a huge loop through the western United States back to the Midwest during tumultuous weather times. Pulling a small trailer always was a consideration on roads we weren’t sure about. Thank goodness for this app!
Why why why
This was a one of the best weather apps, and my go to app to get the most accurate information on Minnesota weather. Seeing that it was going away at the end of the month I downloaded the other CBS app that we are now supposed to use. It was so bad that I deleted it after two days. no concise way to see the weather. No meaningful information to see the forecast. Why is it we have to settle for not even second best when we have some thing Excellent that works great?

Great app…discontinuing???
I see the banner is now gone in regards to discontinuing this app. I hope that’s an indication that it will continue. The WCCO news app is useless when it comes to weather. There is too much information to plow through to get to the info. I hope ‘CCO has come to their senses and will continue THIS useful app!!!

The perfect weather app
I use this app every day and plan my activities around it.
Really?!?
This app will no longer be supported as of March 31st and I am sorely disappointed. Is was the best weather app available ane I relied upon it extensively, being I drive for my primary job and the weather affects how things go with my job.
The app they are replacing this one with is completely substandard at best.

Even the built in weather app on my iPhone is better suited for my needs than what you have done here!

Sorry they won’t support after the end of March
This was great. Just the weather without all the other stuff. And it fit on an iPad. After the 31st, it will be the news app and that is only formatted for the phone. Sorry that CBS didn’t see the merit of this app.
Discontinuing a good app?
Why do I see banners at the top of the app telling that it will be discontinued and no longer supported as of March 31, 2023?
Of all of my weather apps, this it the most accurate and easy to use. The alternative being suggested — CBS News Minnesota — is a bloated app, not focused on weather or school closings, etc.

Killing the Best Wx App for Minnesotans?
What are you thinking? I loaded the recommended CBS news app, & deleted it after three days. It’s a meandering non-user friendly app. It does not reload every time you open t. To update date, the user must clear it out from memory each time it’s accessed. WCCO, you lose my faith in you! Sadly. No one in power reass user reviews. 😡

Frustrating forecast data
So frustrating to try and understand the daily precipitation data. The summary percentage never matches the percentages shown for morning or evening and I haven’t found an explanation as to why. As someone else commented, the other frustration with the app is it’s slowness in updating information. Clearly the app is not a high priority for CBS, which is a shame.

I enjoy this handy reference to know what the weather is doing in our area or elsewhere. Very easy to use and is very accurate! The live radar weather map is my favorite feature!

Video audio cuts out
Audio cuts out on video forecasts after a minute or so. Been doing this for months. Horrible nobody has fixed it by now.,
