Weather alerts for other areas?

For the past week or two I am getting weather alerts for areas I’m not anywhere near by over 200 miles. What’s up with that? Usually an accurate app.

Excellent weather app

In an instant I can see what today’s weather will be in my location. I can get a pretty accurate forecast 9 or 10 days out. The map is excellent. You can see radar across the globe. Sunrise and sunset information. UV index. I walk, bike and golf. This app gives me information that helps me choose the optimum time to be outdoors.
