I’ve stopped using the app. Every video begins with a 15 or 30 second ad which is really annoying when some of the news clips only run 60 seconds.
Disappointed with the weather app
The CBS weather app was my go-to weather app. The replacement is no where near as good. I need to find another source.
Please don’t discontinue the weather app
I use the CBS weather app constantly now and love it. I am dismayed that you are discontinuing it. I checked out the CBS 2 New York app and it is useless for weather. I couldn’t even find the radar map. I will not be using it.
Replacement weather app
The weather app that will be disabled on March 31,2023 is much better than its replacement!!!!! The weather feature in the new app is annoying and not as good - I have nothing against having news available, however, it’s terrible for weather! You CAN’T save locations - I have at least eight locations in the current app - when I’m traveling- this feature is very important! You CAN’T easily go back and forth from daily and hourly information. GOOD CHANCE I’LL DELETE THIS APP AND TRY SOMEONE ELSES PS I WATCH CBS NEWS EVERY NIGHT AT 11:00 PM AND MOST OF THE TV PROGRAMS I WATCH ARE ON CBS

Not good at all. Headlines are HUGE
Very disappointed. I need weather. The old app was sharp and to the point. Now they pushed on us an overloaded with headlines app. When I need news, I go to news. When I need weather, that’s all I need. Will be looking for the appropriate app elsewhere. Was with CBS. For hundred of years. Now it’s time to move on.

New iOS does not allow cbsnewyork to work in landscape position. Please update app old version worked fine. This is very upsetting and unacceptable.

Too Small
I must say the app offers lots of headlines. However it should fit the screen like the CBS News app that I have had for over a year.

Size
The app size cannot be handled. It is just one small size.
Old One MUCH BETTER
The old app had landscape, since many people use tablets not having this is a BIG pain. The old App was easier to navigate. The old App did not crash your device. These things should all have been worked out BEFORE they replaced the old/ user friendly App.

CBS NY Local news app
Extremely slow response. App suddenly closes on its own. Bring back the old app until you work out the bugs in the new version.
All you get is CBSN and not local CBS starion with the app
The old app allowed you to watch local newscast from major CBS locations. Now all you get is CBSN. Please fix so I can watch my local news again.
Awful!!
New version installed a couple of days ago screwed up the phone while it was running. Finally deleted it after reinstalling a couple of times. Too bad, since the old version was one of my most frequently used apps.
Too buggy, freezes a lot
The new app is not ready yet, give it back to developers to fix. It freezes a lot when scrolling through stories. please fix
Inferior to older version
This app freezes a lot especially while scrolling through stories. Tapping on stories often leads to it opening in a web browser rather than the app. Why bother with the app, then? Bring back the old app.
