Wow! It’s been a minutes since I used this. My challenge 4 tutor recommended and I’m using it for my student. It’s been a helpful tool. I am able to use it with my other kids in the other program levels. Broken nicely by week. Would be nice to see the platform a little more visually simpler and broken down.

Needs a back button
Agreed with most other reviewers that this app needs a lot of work to be user friendly. I’m finding that on many videos, if I hit play, I have to close out and restart the app and log back in to get the main menu again. Great concept, just needs work.

Cumbersome to Navigate
I understand the decision to move away from the old apps to ensure only current members have access to memory work, but the new app feels like a major downgrade in usability. It is cluttered and cumbersome, making it difficult to locate specific weeks or subjects quickly. I understand how to use the dropdown menu feature as well as how to search for content, but the organization of the old apps allowed me to find memory work in seconds. If only the Timeline song in its entirety was included on the old app, it would have been perfect. All of the extra content such as the parent helps this had been added are easily accessed on ccconnected.com and only add unnecessary clutter.

Can this be made compatible with Apple CarPlay
My kids love listening to memory work when we’re running errands. Just got pulled over for looking at my phone to change memory work. My car has Apple CarPlay and it would be amazing if I could use the screen to select memory work!
Needs much improvement
This is the laggiest app I have ever used, it’s useless. Videos don’t load, or work. Audio is messed up. Do not recommend

I’m really enjoying using this application as a supplement to our memory work in the car. I wish I could close the screen while playing the audio files.

This is does not work properly and it’s really frustrating when trying to prepare. What’s the point of having the app if it’s not usable.

The app is not user friendly or intuitive. It constantly shows error messages and will sign you out, even while moving through the app. The information is good, but needs to be more accessible in a more functional format. Just keep it simple.

Doesn’t usually let me find anything…it’s all just challenge stuff and I’m over here being in essentials and like: hah? Can I practice too instead of buying all the other three apps for money?!
Didn’t care for until…
I really liked the old app better until just this week. This week i realized that this app has a continuous play option for Foundations Memory work that the old app doesn’t. That is a total game changer. I love that I can stream it to our TV while I’m preparing lunch and I don’t have to keep hitting the next button.

Could be great
Occasionally this app is wonderful, but often if shows that I have “no content” to view. I can access CC connected on my phone through the web browser, but the app is often having issues. Hoping to see these resolved, since this would be a great resource!

The weeks are mixed up
This app is overall good but cycle 1 weeks 12 and 13 are switched around. Also the downloads are not working and there is no student option. It seems to me that it’s only for adults. It logged out automatically almost every time I open the app. (The essentials part is not so bad though)
Not what I need
I’m able to access information on my smartphone via the actual website just fine. What I really need is an app that my younger students can use to engage with Foundations memory work on their own. The old cycle apps did this and I’m very disappointed they’re no longer available. The only thing I’ve found useful in this new app is the timeline song in its entirety, but I have that already on my phone from buying the CDs. It’s also clunky to navigate. While I appreciate the intent of making C3 more accessible via mobile device, this misses the user friendly mark as well as the primary functionality mark. I’m glad this app was free because otherwise it would have been a waste of money for me.

Needs work
Difficult to navigate. The organization is pretty terrible. It serves its function. However, it logs you out after almost every use. Having to log in every single time you use it is very annoying.

Too full of bugs to be useful. I always get logged out. I thought it might be helpful to put on my challenge student’s device, but not if I have to log her in every five minutes. Will uninstall and wait for an update.

My children loved the old app and it was their screen time. They could navigate it completely unassisted, but there is too much content for parents for them to weed through.
Edit to add -I have found you can choose new grammar in a drop dow. But my kids are disappointed there is no visual like the old app and they hit download on accident and then are completely lost.
