About

Put your desktop AI coding assistant in your pocket. CC Pocket lets you remotely connect to your own Mac or Linux machine from your phone, watch AI coding tasks progress in real time, send new instructions, approve tool actions, and get notified when work is done. Whether you are commuting, in a meeting, traveling, or away from your desk, you can stay in control as long as your computer is online. It is not a remote desktop app, and it is not a generic SSH client. CC Pocket is designed for AI coding agent workflows: observe what the agent is doing, approve sensitive actions, and take back control when needed. Remote control for AI coding: - Connect across networks without public IPs or port forwarding - Stream responses, tool calls, command output, and task status in real time - Receive push notifications when a task finishes - Stop the current turn instantly when the agent goes off track Human-in-the-loop permissions: - Review sensitive actions before they run - Approve or deny command execution, file edits, and other tool actions - Highlight dangerous operations before you allow them - Remember approval rules for the current session, or clear them anytime - Add a reason when denying an action so the agent can try another path End-to-end encrypted: - Conversations, code, commands, and tool inputs are encrypted between your phone and your computer - The relay only forwards encrypted data and cannot read your content - Self-host the relay for full control over your connection path - No account required; pair your devices and start working Built for AI coding workflows: - Clean Markdown and code rendering with copy support - Thinking blocks, tool calls, token usage, and context window status - Quick controls for model, reasoning effort, permissions, and context compaction - Project folders, session history, and active tasks in one place Mobile-first input: - Dictate prompts by voice - Attach screenshots, design references, and error images - Use slash command autocomplete - Queue messages while a task is still running Easy setup: - One-line install on macOS with Homebrew - One-line install script for Linux - Background daemon with auto-start and reconnection - Pair and switch between multiple computers CC Pocket is for developers who already use AI coding assistants and want their phone to become a second screen, remote control, and approval layer. Use it to: - Check progress while commuting - Approve the next step during lunch - Ask the agent to investigate a bug during a meeting - Control your office or home machine while traveling - Let tasks run after you leave your desk, then get notified when they finish Your computer keeps working. You stay in control. > Stronger version if you decide to explicitly position around Claude Code: > “CC Pocket is a remote control layer for Claude Code running on your own computer.”

What's New in CC Pocket

1.3.3

July 9, 2026

What's new in 1.3.3 New • Usage redesigned: Today now breaks down hour by hour, and the 30-day view is a calendar heatmap • Type @ in the message box to quickly insert a file from your project • Sub-agent runs appear as cards with live status and an expandable report • Preview and export session files — diffs and documents — straight from the Changes view Fixes & improvements • AskUserQuestion: free-text answers are now typable • "Sending…" no longer gets stuck — a delivery times out cleanly, shows an undelivered state, and can be resent • Tap a file path in a transcript to open it • Codex session titles no longer show setup blocks or raw IDs Note: some fixes need the computer-side cc-pocket-daemon on 1.3.3 — run "cc-pocket-daemon update" (or brew upgrade / scoop update).
