Malfunctioning for renewals
I’m no longer able to use the app to renew books. It’s malfunctioning and looping on its own yes/no logic after I select the books to renew.
Not working at all!
Can’t log in! Has been down for days. I’ve tried reinstalling the app and it can’t connect to the server. The website is also down. Please fix!
11/30/23. Still down. I do believe that this an iOS issue as I use only Apple devices. For some reason the app and website cannot connect to the server. This is very frustrating as I use this app all the time.

Fantastic!
I read more now that I can quickly and easily request any book across the many participating libraries be sent to my small town library. I’ve been telling my friends and family to download this app.
11/28/23: I’ve been getting “unable to connect to server” messages since the most recent iOS update. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no luck. I look forward to when this minor inconvenience is resolved. In the meantime, the desktop site will do. :)

Not working at all!

Almost Perfect
Somehow I missed the memo on the existence of this app but I’m glad I finally found it! Really nice to be able to renew books and check on holds without going through the website in Safari, and I really love the card barcode feature—one less thing to carry when I’m popping into the library to pick up a hold. The only thing that would make it perfect for me is the ability to access my account’s lists and place holds from them (bonus if I can add to them too)!

What is the point
Where is the catalogue even located in this app? This app is literally pointless without a catalogue.
Where is “My List”?
On the website for CCRLS, I can create a list of books. Why can’t I do that on the mobile app?
Very useful
I was excited to get this update. The last version had really been useless in terms of searching for books. For example, on the old version I searched for “Yoda” and it came up with 11 results. The updated version came up with a 1100 AND finally ways to filter them. (I would still love to see a filter for genre, like nonfiction, children’s, etc.).
You can also now scan in your library card. Your account settings also shows your holds and ebooks from Libby.
Thanks for the update! I’m looking forward to using it. Now hopefully I’ll be able to control my fines.
Update on the update: I just saw that it has a place where your library barcode pops up so you can scan it at the library. Awesome!

Needs More Filters
I like most features on this app but it needs more filter options. As far as I can tell it only allows you to search format, fields, and location (this means only ebooks or regular catalog). I like being able to filter library location. I also miss being able to text myself the information like you can on the website.
Other than that, I love that I can link my whole family’s accounts and renew so easily.

Lost My Personal Lists
The update was not helpful to me. I had created separate book shelves (or whatever you would call them) and they are gone. Was relying on this to keep a list of what I wanted to get to eventually. I will delete this app now.
It’s ok
Works ok for due dates and renewals. New design still seems needlessly complicated. Search feature lacks in abilities and doesn’t handle names with apostrophes. Somewhere in recent updates lost the ability to see how much longer a hold would be available. I do like the checkout history though.

Love this app!
I manage my Salem Public Library account with this app: Reserve books and materials, renew, search. Between this app and having signed up to receive email notices of upcoming book return due dates and holds, I rarely accrue overdue fines and am able to quickly and easily reserve and check out books from other libraries in the CCRLS system through my local Salem library. (Using the app on an iPhone 6 with the most recent iOS version.)

Last Update not working
I have been using this app for over a year and it had always worked well until recently. Now most of the time it tells me no search results for books and authors I know are in the system. Come on folks. Get it working right again
