Excellent study material with rationale
After taking practice tests for 1 week, I realized I was getting the same questions over and over again. Now, when I select for 10 practice questions, I often only get 1 or 2. This is a poorly designed app lacking a large question bank.
I passed!
The App was very useful in helping me study for my exam. What I found most helpful was the rationale given for every correct answer and my readiness score. I highly recommend this to anyone who needs to study and pass their CCRN.
Hoping to become ICU nurse
The cost is unrealistic.
Good questions for prepping for the exam. The only issue I had was occasional grammar errors and a couple absent rationales.
Thoughtful well worded questions.
In general it’s a good tool to practice taking and reading / interpreting the exam questions. It may be just me but I’ve found that they utilize extraoficial terms for conditions that I had not seen before through practice of through the AACN. I’ve also encountered a couple trick questions that justify the rationale on a technicality rather than standard of care. I found one rationale where they contradict themselves.

The setup is great and easy to use. Some of the questions and answers are poorly worded. Also, some of the rationales are not very clear. While explaining while the correct answer is indeed correct it actually makes a different answer sound correct.
The content of the questions and answers needs significantly better quality control. There are constantly typos and wording issues that not only make many questions confusing, but sometimes unreadable. These also may lead to you choosing the wrong answer. I’ve found another app with better content and costs less for the premium subscription that actually provides references for the correct answers (and many more tests so I can just go back to it should I choose to pursue further certification). I am already a certified nurse with broad knowledge set so don’t take this to be someone whose reading comprehension / knowledge base is simply too low to understand the questions.

Took my CCRN today and passed thanks to this app. Very realistic. It mimicked other practice exams I have taken and provided a reliable source for my studying. Being able to take it with me on the go was even more beneficial
It’s a good app with rationale for answers, but I wish you could focus on specific areas that you want to focus on. Additionally, I wish you could select to take 150 questions all at once to simulate the real test length.
Overall very helpful! But there are a good number of incorrect English usage, and sometimes the justification isn’t said very well.
They took my money before the free trial was up.
Great app! I love the reminders and the rationale explanations.
I have seen maybe one or two typos within a question, which make me wonder if the validity of questions
I am so happy I stumbled upon this app, totally awesome practice questions
Very like aacn’s questions. Helped me out greatly. Recommend pocket prep and the aacn’s questions as well. App glitches, but still ok.
I’ve been using this app to start preparing for my CCRN, and overall, it’s a solid resource for practice questions and reinforcing core concepts. The questions are well structured, and the rationales do a good job of explaining what’s happening in a clinical scenario. However, where the app falls short is in breaking down the pathophysiology the deeper “why” behind the condition.
