User reviews

Harmful to medical patients

Many patients are suffering in pain and the CDC is perpetuating it.

out of date with its own recommendations?

How can it be that this calculator doesn’t include CDC’s own changes in recommendations from 2022?

Irresponsible

Outdated guidelines need to be removed. I think the CDC has enough taxpayer money to update this. This is essentially misinformation to leave it as it stands.

Need updates

Guidelines on opioids have been updated. Need to update this too

Bad guidelines

It is very unfortunate that the CDC continues to put these guidelines out. They are wrong and their stats are incorrect.
By creating this β€œtool” they are making misinformation more readily available. People are committing suicide because of these faulty guidelines. It’s hurting chronic pain patients, cancer patients, surgical patients, and even terminally ill patients. Enough damage has already been done.
