CDFW Gillnets eLog EVAL

The CDFW Gill Nets eLog Mobile Application is being piloted by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) to evaluate electronic reporting for California's commercial Gill Net fishery. This application allows participating gillnet fishermen to record required fishing activity and submit trip information electronically using a mobile device. The evaluation is intended to gather feedback from industry participants, improve workflows, and ensure the application meets the operational needs of the fleet. The application has been developed in collaboration with commercial fishermen and CDFW staff to simplify reporting while maintaining the information required for fisheries management.
