Love it
Very addictive played for hours
Great fun
Really enjoyed the first game, this sequel is lots of fun.
Addicting and very enjoyable
So glad I found this game to play.
Honestly a fun little game
I downloaded the game not really expecting much, but I really like the game so far.
The level up system is interesting and satisfying, the movement feels nice, and overall its a good shmup.
The only thing I don’t really like is the soundtrack. I’ve only heard one song in the levels so far, and it is not too great. Other shmups like Gradius, R-Type, and Raiden, all of which inspired this game, had great soundtracks.

Mildly addicting
Awesome free game!
Straight forward and lots of fun. Lots of variety and great for grinding too. No ads, quick loads and stable, playing for a few weeks and hasn’t crashed once! I’ve bought a few of the add-ons which totally make the game more fun and so worth it. I’ve played through in the lowest setting and working my way through on medium now. After finishing that I’ll try with the alternate ship. Also, join the boards. The creator replies to all comments and is very supportive. This is a gem.

Madmicr
Unbelievable and very addictive. Y'all did great with this one, reminds me of the classics. Yet I hit a snag, I just updated and my acct it won't let me log in. Then it decreased my damage to 35 when I was maxed out already. Whassup?
Amazing
This game is amazing. More people should know about this game.
This game is amazing. There's no other word for it
This is the best free shooter game on the App Store. Possibly the BEST space shooter game on the App Store. A free game with no ads whatsoever, and it doesn't tell you to rate it. Ever. Not only that, but you don't have to purchase in-game ship upgrades or anything like that; you can win just fine without them. No glitches that I have found at all, smooth and beautiful graphics, difficult but not impossible levels, an upgrade system that allows you to personalize your ship... I could go on and on about how awesome this game is. There's nothing I can complain about. I don't generally write reviews for any games, but this one deserved an amazing review. Thank you, creators, for making a game like this on the App Store.

Pretty fun, but needs work.
Graphics are very sharp, and the enemies are varied in design. There are a great many levels, so replay-ability is significant. Best of all, however, is the customizable try of the ship: there are a massive number of upgrades you can choose from.
However there are several problems with this game.
- Some updates simply don't work: the homing function for the main gun, as well as the 2 extra gun mounts provided by green shards.
- The two upgrades, aptitude and fortune, are pointless in the long run. You should always get them first, preventing the he players from getting other upgrades, which defeats the purpose a building up a customized ship.
- The enemies with that instant kill beam are so fast that they can spawn, fire, hit the player, and kill the player, all before the player has any possible chance of reacting.
- I have not had a chance to test out nearly all the powers, so I can't share which others are broken.
- charging $ for a ship respec? Really? That's dirty.
All in all, I like the game, but it seems more like a late beta release, than a full polished product.

Excellent shooter!
Download and you won't be disappointed! I was pleasantly surprised how deep this game is, hours and hours of shooting pleasure, the controls are what make this work!

Would be five stars
Great game but has not been working right since iOS update. I lost my profile and all my purchases and the built in support won't let submit a trouble ticket because it asks for a detailed description of the problem no matter how much I write. I hope they fix this soon.
UPDATE: Was able to get a message through to the company, response was in less than a day and great. The error is still there but I am sure they are working on it.

Pew! Pew!
One of the best freemium games I have played. Graphics are well done and general game play and game balance are well thought out.
As you progress higher in capabilities it can take a lot of "grinding" of previous levels to improve your ship and capabilities so you can continue on. That's not a big deal, but maneuvering back to previous levels can be a bit finicky with the given interface.
And despite the freemium nature of the game, I never feel pressured to pour money into it. Even the in game advertisements are not annoying and only appear at well spaced out intervals. That being said, I was impressed enough with this title to at least pay for the ad removal.
Looking forward to continued updates.
