Unusable for American tourist
Jerusalem requires payment for parking with apps that don’t work for tourists. Never received an activation code so could not sign up. Messaged support on WhatsApp numerous times with no answer. Extremely inconvenient for our trip.
SCAM! BEWARE!!!They will steal your money
I installed this parking app on iOS thinking it would be a convenient way to pay for parking, but it turned out to be a complete scam. Without clear consent, the app signed me up for an expensive monthly subscription that doesn’t even show up in Apple’s official App Store subscriptions list, making it nearly impossible to cancel. There’s no option to stop the charges in the app itself, so you’re stuck paying hidden fees every month for a so-called service that provides nothing of value. This is a deceptive, predatory subscription trap disguised as a parking app. Avoid this dishonest app at all costs—there are plenty of legitimate parking apps for iPhone and iPad that don’t rely on shady billing practices, hidden charges, and unauthorized auto-renewals. Apple should remove this fraudulent app from the App Store immediately.

No text verification message
I am trying to sign into the app but it won’t send me a verification code and I can’t park my car. Very frustrating
Horrible service
I downloaded the app in Israel, put on my credit card, was charged 50 shekels. The charge went through on my credit card. And then when I tried to use the app to pay for a bus ticket , it said there was something wrong with the credit card and to add another card. So I added another card , and was charged another 50 shekels, and my credit card was charged again yet I received the same error.
I contacted customer service and they told me that there is no way to remedy this problem. I sent them a screenshot of the error message. I was receiving they were totally rude and did not refund my money even though there’s no way for me to use the service.

Scam App
This app requires you to pre load money starting at 50nis and then this only works for street parking, not for parking lots as it leads you to think when you download the app. They do not refund you for balances not used. I would avoid.
Almost perfect
I have limited Hebrew and I use the app. Generally I’m very satisfied. I’d have given it 4.5 if that had been possibly. The only problem is all customer service contact is in Hebrew. After writing English about a dozen times you get a Hebrew message ( thank you google translate) telling you they will get someone. That takes hours!!! Once someone does come they are helpful and efficient!

Not working!
I’ve been trying to login for the last many months and I put in my United States cell phone number but don’t receive any text with a password! No customer service number to contact anyone either!
Update: after leaving a review they contacted me and I was able to setup with their assistance.
They claim that if it’s a foreign number you need to go through their customer service

Usually no problem using
However, 2 days ago I get the standard message that my car just entered a parking garage and if I want to activate their service. Only problem is that my car wasn’t even being driven when this occurred and I did not enter any parking garage anywhere.
I also today looked at my yearly charges and it seems that I am being charged a high monthly service charge for their service in addition to the actual parking charges.

Doesn’t send SMS - can’t sign up
Gave up on pango as it requires an Israeli phone number. Couldn’t get the correct Cello app for my normal AppStore account in Australia, so switched to the US AppStore. Cello appears to accept international mobile numbers - but neither my AU or US number get an SMS so I can verify. I’ll spend more time sorting out parking apps than actually parking. There are several other reviews complaining of the same issue. Cello have replied asking to be contacted on their support email but don’t actually fix the problem. I’ve used parking apps all over the world, and mostly they work well tourist or local. In Israel they just seem to make things worse.
UPDATE: So a week after I first contacted them, and after I’d returned the rental car so no longer needed the service, Cello decided to respond to my email for assistance saying they have to manually process non-Israeli numbers and to phone them on +972 3-7187711. Too late for me, but maybe this will save someone else trouble. I ended up getting assistance from a local and using their account for the few days we needed to park.

App not working
I already got a ticket. I’m from Texas, if your from the US, listen up. I rented a car and drove to the my Airbnb. I parked in the blue and white side walk and knew that I had to put in money to park. Immediately the app would not work. I selected English, put in the country code (+1), and put it my number. This is where it doesn’t work, after selecting next it never sends me a code to put in. I tried putting in spaces, dashes, everything that I could think of to get that code but no text with a code came through. I was on WiFi, I shut off the WiFi (I have free international texts), still nothing. My best bet was to find a garage for the night. Went back outside to where my car was parked and too late, I got a ticket. Tel Aviv is literally the WORST for parking. I’ve been to more countries like Vietnam who has a better parking system. You can’t park in red/yellow or red/white. This app doesn’t give you instructions, not even on the website. It’s so frustrating cause not I have no idea where I am going to park tomorrow night. I would try the garage but it’s going to be Shabbat the following day. Will I be able to get out of the garage? The worst parking situation I have ever experienced.

Tried to use it with parking lots in Israel. It made me charge the card. It didn’t work and they refused refund . Move to Pango

Won’t allow registration
Have tried multiple times to register for this app. It requires a cell phone number to sms you an activation code/password, but no code ever comes (I tried 3 different numbers multiple times). There is no customer support number to call.
Got unjustified fine that the app could easily solve
I use cello for 2 cars. I used cello but didn’t change the car to the correct one, got fine and Ramat Yishai did not agree the cancel it although I showed them it was just an error on my side.
Since cello has the bluetooth connection associate with each car, why wouldn’t it propose the correct car based on BT connection?
Also: stop showing annoying ads every time I want to use the app. I don’t want extra services you propose - so why do I need to see it each and every time I park???

Awful app and service. Beware! They take your money despite the service not working
I downloaded the app while visiting Israel and wanted to use it to pay for a parking lot, which is one of the specified options in the app. I deposited 100 shekels via my credit card and when I attempted to pay all I kept seeing was a large “Forbidden!” banner. I tried paying 5 times in 3 different locations (a hospital and two malls), and it didn't work in either. When I contacted customer support I was bamboozled with a bunch of extend wait time and silly excuses, and they refused to refund my 100 shekels.
Beware! The service is fraudulent and untrustworthy with terrible customer support.
