This app does what it says fairly well. The sound fonts are good quality.
I use it with the WARBL 2, and Celtic sounds doesn’t always like if I use the built-in pitch shifting of the WARBL, as it will just cut out or play odd notes.
The worst issue is that the app constantly runs and drains my battery.

Best MIDI app for WARBL
This app comes up reliably every time, unlike Sforzando, which frequently requires reset.
Sadly not very good
I wish this was a good app, it’s a great concept. Half the instruments don’t produce sound, and the ones that do, have a very harsh and abrupt attack. There goes ten bucks.

Great Sounds, Crashes GarageBand for me
Not easy to find decent pipes for GarageBand. Playing them with a USB midi keyboard on the app works great. But try to open it as an external instrument in GarageBand and it crashes. Tried both on my iPad Air and IPhone 15 Pro.

Would be nice if the documentation was accessible from the app. Pipe sounds need a specific key from the midi chanter (D4) Needs to have a midi keyboard mode option. Other than that.…

Fantastic for use with a Warbl
Perfect app for using with a Warbl Midi device.
Sounds exactly like a tin whistle (other instruments are also available) and notes transition great when playing at high speeds.
You can shift pitches to play whistles in a different tuning, seems to play in the background whilst YouTube is loaded to overlay over videos when practicing and the developer is very responsive.

Battery killer
The app is great but if left running in the background with no controller plugged in it will kill your battery overnight.

Thanks for mentioning that. Best to force quit the app if you aren't using it, it does use background audio.

The WARBL is a complex MIDI controller with many controls of its own. Have you verified that your WARBL is actually sending MIDI data to the iPhone using a program like MIDI Wrench, additionally you will want to make sure the output MIDI channel the WARBL is sending on as well the receive channel in the app match.

,Hello there. I really like this app, especially the fact that the bagpipes are tuned in the traditional tuning, as well as mimicking all of the accompanying drones and regulators. My one issue is that there is one instrument that I cannot select, which is the button accordion sound. I own two mini keyboards, one for use with my iPad Pro, and the other with use for my iPod touch. The version on the iPod touch works and I can select all five instruments. But for some reason this iPad Pro is not letting me use the Accordion sound. Any help or support on this matter would be appreciated, or addressed in a future update of the app. So to summarize, I can use every single instrument sound, except for the button accordion. And it’s only an issue on the iPad Pro.

Excellent app.
This app has a nice simple interface and responsive MIDI. I’m using it with a MIDI tin whistle, and it has the most realistic whistle sound I’ve found in an IOS MIDI app.

Well worth the money for the sounds you get in this module! Very detailed (eg. Breathy whistle/flute sounds, drone notes on the pipes.
