Won’t ever buy a Century product again!
As per other users, this product is absolute garbage…bought several years ago and was super difficult to ever get WiFi to connect, and very unstable if you’re lucky enough to get it connected…as of May 2024, I even moved one of my mesh WiFi routers right next to it and it still won’t connect!!! After wasting hours trying to get it running again for this season, I’m going to give up and rely on the manual programming of the pump and throw the WiFi module in the garage since there seems to be ZERO support for this product. Won’t be buying anything from Century again after this experience.

One star, because i cant give it Zero Stars
As someone else said about a week ago, its horrible. No connection in over a month. No support. Plus, bad design on program and hardware. When installed, can only control pool motor from your phone. If it goes down, you cant do anything.
Going to cut the cord, get a new basic motor and go back to the nice, easy, has stood the test of time, mechanical timer.
Stay away.

Unstable- once again
When I first purchased the VLink over 4 years ago their servers were very unstable. The developers finally addressed the issues on their end and the VLink controller and this app worked great for years until mid April 2024 when the controller stopped connecting once again. Support says they are having connectivity issues. What exactly does that mean? I guess if your server goes offline for over three weeks then yes my controller can not connect. Why has this issue not been resolved? All the red flags of a product that is no longer supported or cared for by the company that sells it.

Absolute garbage.
Absolutely the worst consumer product I think I’ve ever purchased. What makes it worse is there’s absolutely zero customer support. I’m removing the entire pump along with this garbage connected device and replacing it with something else. Simply doesn’t work reliably and never has during the two years I’ve had it. Lost connectivity two weeks ago, but at least the pump was working. At least for a while. Came back to the house and the pool was completely green because the pump hadn’t run for over a week. Attempted to call customer support, and got someone in India that sounded completely laughing drunk. I just don’t get how companies can be so sloppy and useless.

Hit or Miss
When it works it is very convenient. The main problem is the lack of reliability. It is frequently down and it seems to happen on weekends and holidays. Trying to manually override it with the keypad is usually frustrating as well. They need to schedule the server for this app to reboot nightly so it is available for customers. Sad that they created this but don’t maintain it.
