What's New in Cerebo

1.1

October 23, 2026

Cerebo 1.1 adds a Test button to every deck, and a chat that makes cards, answers your questions and quizzes you, all on your device with Apple Intelligence. Cerebo now speaks nine languages, too. Test yourself • Match: pair each front with its back against the clock. On every iPhone and iPad • Practice Test, with Apple Intelligence: true or false, multiple choice and written questions. Written answers are checked for meaning, and your review schedule doesn't change • Print any deck, or export it as a PDF The chat (on iPhones and iPads with Apple Intelligence) • Make a deck from a PDF, Word document, photo, scan or web page. A PDF with chapters becomes a category with a deck for each. You review every card before it's added • Then make a study guide from the same document: an overview, the main points and key terms, to read or print with the cards • Record a lecture, even with the screen locked, and turn it into cards. Only the transcript is kept • Cards can come with graphs, 3D surfaces, tables, equations and code • Pictures too: a PDF's figures land on the cards about them, and on iOS 27 Apple Intelligence reads your photos, scans, handwriting and diagrams, a card for each labelled part • Ask about your own cards and see which cards the answer came from, or ask how to use Cerebo • Get quizzed on a deck or a topic ("quiz me on antidotes"): answer in your own words, then choose the rating yourself. Say "quiz me out loud" and Cerebo reads each card and listens for your answer • Create decks, move cards, set reminders and plan study sessions in your calendar. Nothing changes until you confirm Also new • Scan to Cards and Record a Lecture in Control Center, on the Lock Screen or the Action button, and a Quick Capture widget for your Home Screen • On iPad and iPhone Duo, your library sits in a sidebar beside the deck you're working on • "Make Cards in Cerebo" in the share sheet: send a page from Safari, or text and files from other apps • Import from Quizlet by pasting a set's export text • Answer templates: give a deck a layout such as meaning, synonyms and example, and Apple Intelligence fills it in for each card • One read-aloud voice for the whole app, replacing the per-deck setting. Automatic matches each card's language • Shortcuts actions to find cards, add a card or open the chat • Cerebo is now in English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean and Chinese

I use this app to study every day

Easy to use

Best flashcards app I’ve used on iOS

Great app to stay organized

Use AI to organize your study material efficiently and partner you in your learning process. I like that everything stays on device and hence secure.

Finally, flash cards that don’t feel outdated

The AI makes creating cards so much faster. I can type the question and have Cerebo generate the answer for me, even offline. It’s simple, fast, and removes a lot of the annoying setup that usually comes with making flash cards.
