06/2025 stage 2 verification not working
I guess this is an ongoing issue with this. My delivery was delayed. This was Scottsdale stated
“ Unfortunately, there has been an unexpected delay due to an issue with the special Certi-Lock packaging used for this release.” Not sure who to who I need to address this with. Still not fixed.

2025 and Level 2 Verification still doesn’t work???
Most of the reviews for this app are from several years ago so I figured they would have addressed the verification issue by now. Nope! Level 1 verification works but when you click to go to level 2 it just sits and spins indefinitely. Even closing and restarting doesn’t help. It’s apparent there is no developer support for this app, or Scottsdale Mint is not actually taking and storing images of their product for verification. Either way, why not just remove the level 2 option and just stick with Level 1? To alllow a core function to remain broken after so many years makes the whole company seem untrustworthy.

Why bother making an app that doesn’t work?
The scanner focuses at a distance at which it cannot read the QR code. DUH!
App doesn’t work
Takes control of your phone and crashes.
I guess that’s what you get for nothing.
I suggest you test your metals on your own.

Disappointing
Crashes right after scan. Also crashes when trying to use menu.
Can it be trusted ?
Level 2 never uploads it doesn’t matter how long you leave it loading . It leaves a unsettling feeling maybe this app and verification isn’t even by the mint who knows ? That’s how it makes you feel .

Have purchased a few items directly from Scottsdale Mint. I have yet to get Level 2 verification to work. Just hangs and shows an infinite loading icon loop. Have tried two different devices and still the same result
Perfect For Security
Great APP. Hopefully more products are scanned with Certi-Lock. Top notch authenticator with the actual photo with serial number as product left the company. Great APP for coin collectors.
