CFI Endorse Log

CFI Endorse Log gives flight instructors their own permanent, independent record of every FAA endorsement they issue — something the CFI actually keeps, instead of relying on a student's logbook they may never see again. If the FAA ever asks you to prove you issued an endorsement, this is your proof. WHAT IT DOES • Log any endorsement from the complete, current AC 61-65 catalog — all 96 endorsements across 17 categories, always searchable and organized by category. • Attach photo proof to every endorsement you log, with crop and perspective correction so a photo of a logbook page comes out clean. • Track expiration dates automatically for time-limited endorsements (pre-solo night, student solo, SFAR 73, and more) with a visual reminder when one is expiring soon. • See a Favorites list tailored to what each student is working toward, so the right endorsements are always one tap away. • Keep every student's full endorsement history in one place, searchable by name, with their certificates, ratings, and category/class on the same page. • Start from the Dashboard: see what's expiring soon and your recent activity at a glance. • Track your Recent Experience End Date (REED) — CFI certificates no longer expire, so the app tracks the date that matters now, with a Dashboard reminder 3 months out and a notification before it passes. Pro: log your FIRC or other renewal and the app works out your next REED, keeping your anniversary when you renew early. • Find a FIRC: FAA-approved refresher courses with sign-up links, right from your profile. • Export a complete backup — every student, every endorsement, every photo — anytime, and restore it on a new phone or after a reinstall. Pro adds Automatic Backup once a day to Files or a connected Dropbox account. • Get notified when a new FAA AC 61-65 edition is published. BUILT FOR HOW CFIs ACTUALLY WORK • Works on iPhone and iPad. On iPad, a sidebar, your student list, and each student's record sit side by side, in portrait or landscape. • Works completely offline — your data lives on your device, not a server. • Protect your students' records with App Lock — Face ID, passcode, or PIN. • No student accounts and no logins. Want your records on every device? Pro adds optional iCloud Sync between devices signed in to your own iCloud account. • Free to use for 1 active student. Upgrade to Pro for unlimited students, iCloud Sync, Automatic Backup, REED renewal tracking, and an ad-free experience. CFI Endorse Log isn't a replacement for the student's own logbook — it's your own backup, so you're never the one with no record.
