Chainblade

Trace. Slash. Stay alive. Chainblade is a line-drawing puzzle crossed with a roguelite, inspired by Dungeon Raid. Link three or more matching tiles on a six by six board, cut enemies down with the sword, hold the line with shields and potions, and try to reach turn fifty alive. SIMPLE, THEN DEEP - Sword chains cut straight through enemies. A red cross marks anything you can kill this turn - Shields give armour, potions restore health, coins give score and gold - Clear ten coins at once for a coin pouch bonus BUILD YOUR OWN RUN - Level up to earn spells on cooldown: judgement lightning, barrier, freeze, gold rush and more - Collect relics from chests and shops and stack the effects - Fill the shield gauge to pick a permanent stat boost BOSSES IN THE WAY - A boss appears every ten turns. Four types stand between you and the end: normal, thorned (reflects), poison and life-draining GAME CENTER - Take your high score to the worldwide leaderboard Short enough for a gap in the day, deep enough to chew on. One decision changes the whole run.
