The brush is quite lag-y and entering text is a little buggy, but other than that, this is a beautiful app. I really like the freedom in choosing the exact hue you want and the chalkboard and whiteboard background options are a nice.

I read it was good for small children. However small children just end up selecting all the advertising. Designed to make children buy products you do not want.

I'm just sayin that this is the exact same as the paid version, except it doesn't make the "nails scraping on a chalkboard" ....but, who's gonna give that up for free? Not me. I got the free version. Because its the same thing, so just get this...unless you just can't live without the "nails scraping on a chalkboard" sound...(you can live without it, don't worry) ;) GET THE FREE VERSION CUZ IT'S THE SAME AS THE PAID VERSION...just sayin....

Very handy, keyboard needs landscape mode support
This is a really handy app for working out Organic Chemistry problems. I have saved a bunch of paper using it to draw out molecules. The current update has a nice but awkward feature: the text option is cool in theory but the execution is hard to use. The reason is if you are using the app in landscape, the key board will only appear in portrait. So you swing the iPad around, type your words then pinch and move the words back in line with the landscape mode. I hope they make the keyboard landscape friendly soon, because the chalkboard is much larger and more useful in this mode.

Nothing new here!
The promo says there are many options. There aren't any, just the usual trash, pen size and color wheel. Ok, so you can save your drawing to your photo library. There's no way to get the drawing back from the library for editing. Though the app is indented to be simple, and it is, there is no help. Additionally, there is no way to contact the app developer. And POP - UP adds in a free app ! Give me a break !
