Worst Registration Experience Ever – Just Let People Play Pool!
I just wanted to play pool, not open a bank account.
I came here just wanting to chill and play a simple game of pool — but instead I felt like I was signing up for a stock trading account.
You have to:
1. Download their app
2. Create an account (name, phone, SMS code, email, password)
3. Log in manually
4. Upload your government-issued ID (front and back)
5. Take a live selfie
6. Enter your credit card details
7. Then — finally — book a table and scan in
This is way too complicated, time-consuming, and frustrating. If the code fails to arrive or the app crashes, you lose everything you just entered. It completely kills the fun mood and feels like a privacy nightmare.
This process will scare away over 90% of new customers. I literally left and went to a different pool hall even after half way nearly finishing registering after feeling so waste of time — no way I’m wasting 15+ minutes just to play.
Please simplify your registration process if you actually want new customers and revenue. Right now, this design is just bad business and completely ruins the experience.
