About

Move your car before it gets a ticket. Chalked tells you when you need to move your car — for street sweeping, time limits, and tow-away zones — on the exact curb where you parked. HOW IT WORKS Pin where you parked (long-press the map, or use your phone's location). Chalked finds the schedule for that side of that block and shows one clear line: "Move car by" — whichever deadline comes first. REMINDERS THAT KEEP COMING Get reminders 12 hours, 2 hours, and 1 hour before street sweeping. They keep coming sweep after sweep until you clear your pin, even if you don't open the app. If sweeping is happening right now, Chalked tells you to move your car now. SEE THE SCHEDULE, CURB BY CURB Sweeping schedules are drawn right on the curbs, side by side. Tap any line to see that curb's schedule in plain words, like "2nd & 4th Tuesday of every month." Red lines are enforced (ticket risk); yellow lines are voluntary. TIME LIMITS AND TOW ZONES Set an alert for a posted time limit — 1 to 4 hours, on the hours and days the sign shows — and get one reminder each day you're parked there. In Madison, Chalked also covers time-limit zones, rush-hour tow-away zones, and winter alternate-side parking, including which side to park on tonight. CHECKED AGAINST REAL SIGNS City data isn't perfect. Chalked's schedules are checked against posted signs and corrected when the city's data is wrong. If the signs on your block say something different, set your own alert from what the sign says — your report also helps other drivers nearby. HANDY EXTRAS - Walk back to your car with one tap - Share your parking spot by text - Search any address or cross street - Tips for other common tickets, like the 72-hour rule and curbing your wheels on hills Free in San Diego and Madison. No account, no sign-up, no ads. Location is optional — you can always pin your car by hand. Chalked is a reminder tool, not a guarantee. City schedules can change, and posted signs always take priority.
