This app has so much to offer! Designed for military, police, and first responders Challenge Coin Check allows you to carry all of your challenge coins with you in a digital display on a social media platform designed exclusively for Challenge Coin and patch collectors. The browse page is your daily feed of new Challenge Coin’s that have been uploaded to the database toggle, all coins, coins for sale or trade coins when searching. The My coins tab is your personal collection of Challenge Coin’s. It’s a place where you can tell the story behind the Challenge Coin with Meta data, descriptions tags, and keywords to help people find your coins. The challenges page is where you can challenge other coins for a 24 hour vote on which coin is better. Users vote, and likes go towards the top 10 list of the most liked coins on the app. The hosted challenges, our group challenges based on a topic for for instance, if you host a challenge for army military intelligence coins, the only people that could accept that challenge would be people who had a army military intelligence coin and then each challenge the users get to vote between the two coins which one they like better. The scan coin page is where you photo search or keyword search any specific coin add your coins to the database add Meta data to your description and if your coin is a smart coin where you validate the smart coin and include the link that the coin is connected to. A smart coin is a custom minted patented Challenge Coin that has an embedded microchip that that makes the challenge coins interactive when a smart phone is touched to the coin. Was good till it was all paying!
I get the developers wanna make money to fund it but people who don’t pay can upload 10 coins then that’s it then it’s 10 dollars for 50 uploads and 30 dollars for unlimited. I uploaded a bunch of my coins when the app just started and really liked it but instantly putting a paywall on it and not maybe doing ads when you upload instead just ruined it. I feel this paywall change will cause this app to go dead cause it’s so small yet requires you to pay a good amount. I really liked the concept and seeing other coins but now I’m just gonna go back to Facebook groups cause I can’t upload anymore coins. I think making me watch ads when you upload would make more sense compared to just instantly bricking people to a paywall to keep uploading and keeping the app active!

Challenge Coin Check is an amazing app for anyone who loves challenge coins and patches. The creator is incredibly friendly, open to ideas, and clearly committed to making the app the best it can be. It’s more than just a platform. It’s a welcoming, comfortable space where people can share their stories, collections, and connect with like-minded communities.
One of my favorite features is the “Challenge” section, which makes it fun and easy to showcase your coins or patches. You can upload photos, remove backgrounds with built-in tools, and add details like the coin’s title, organization, unit, year, and even a personal story. Adding tags also helps others find the same coins, and the app highlights top 10 coins and patches for extra fun recognition.
The app also makes it simple to view all collections, items for sale, or trade, and you can easily manage your own collection. While I haven’t sold or traded yet, the option is there, and it feels very intuitive. Overall, Challenge Coin Check is a fantastic, community-driven app that brings collectors together, celebrates their stories, and makes sharing collections enjoyable. Highly recommended!
