What's New in ChallengeFlag

2.1.9

October 11, 2026

EXPECTED POINTS ADDED Win probability tells you who is winning. Expected points added (EPA) tells you who is playing better. Every pro game page now has an EPA chart beside the win probability graph: each offense's EPA added up play by play, in its team's colors. Drag across it to see each play and what it was worth; tap to jump the play-by-play there. The info button explains how a team can be ahead on one chart and behind on the other. EPA shows up across the app. Every play in the play-by-play carries its EPA under the win probability swing. Every penalty card shows what the flag cost in EPA. The recap's "What the calls cost" adds an EPA column. The starters card shows each quarterback's season EPA per dropback and completion percentage over expected (CPOE). QUARTERBACK BOARD Standings has a new QB EPA tab: every quarterback ranked by EPA per dropback, with CPOE beside it. Quarterbacks with enough dropbacks rank; the rest list below. Tap a row for the player report, or the team for its page. TEAM PAGES AND PLAYER REPORTS Team pages get an EPA card: offense and defense EPA per play, for the season and the last four games, each with its league rank, plus the team's quarterbacks. Player reports add an efficiency section with EPA per dropback, CPOE and weekly sparklines, show each player's real experience, and list this season's coaches. THE FANS' VERDICT AT A GLANCE Every penalty in the list now shows what fans thought of the call as a face, from a perfect whistle to a blown call, with how many rated it. Your own rating shows your face and the call's name. COLLEGE Search the college schedule by school: type KEN and Kentucky's game comes up. Abbreviations work too. Overtime scores land in the OT column of the box score instead of the first quarter, and the total is always the game's own. WHO SHOULD WIN The matchup card now shows how ChallengeFlag's picks have done this season, once there are enough games to count. The pick also takes the line into account. FIXES An injury alert names the quarterback. Opening a team page from an alert waits for sign-in instead of saying the team was not found, and offers a retry. The college schedule waits for the full week before saying no games match.

I helped in reviewing your app and my Fiverr was suspended, I messaged you on email but you don’t reply, message back or I will edit all my reviews to bad and I report your app and it will be banned from Apple Store page.

Wow! Finally!

This app has everything I could possibly need to know about everything NFL. I keep discovering new stats that give me an edge on understanding the game and win probabilities. Unfortunately my team isn’t looking good-but I can’t blame the app for that. It’s all on Mike McDaniel!

Response from developer

Bolt Up. Watching one game live and keeping two more running in the app is exactly the setup it was built for, and "perfect companion at game time" is the phrase I will keep. Thank you for the review. If a game ever lags or an update looks off, tell me and I will check it. Matt, ChallengeFlag

I leave it open during the game now

I used to flip between the score app and Twitter. This one stays on. Before the game I can see who’s hurt and who’s working the game. During it, every play shows up with the score and that little chart that moves when something big happens. When they throw a flag it tells you if it actually wrecked the drive or just felt like it. After the game I finally understand why we lost instead of just staring at 24–20.

Finally shows which play actually ended it

Sometimes it’s a pick. Sometimes it’s a missed kick. Sometimes it’s a flag. This app points at that play instead of making you scroll the whole box score. I sent my dad the screen after the Chargers game and he got it immediately. That’s rare for a football app.

It’s all here

Only App with all the stats and ability to understand the referee impact on a game.
