Best extension of its kind that I’ve ever seen so far. Highly customizable, is getting recent updates, works for both video and audio, and the speed indicator only shows up when you change the speed and auto-hides afterward.

This Extension Makes Browsing So Much Faster!

I rarely leave reviews, but this extension has genuinely made such a difference in my daily routine that I felt I had to share my experience. From the moment I installed it, I noticed how clean and intuitive the interface was. Everything just made sense right away—no complicated menus, no extra steps. It felt like a tool designed by someone who knows exactly what users want. The customizable buttons are the feature I love the most. Being able to speed up or slow down videos with a single press has completely changed the way I watch content. I use it for everything—from long videos to shorts—and it always responds instantly. I can slow down to catch every important detail or speed through the parts I’ve already mastered, which saves me so much time. There’s one small quirk: the speed bar in the pop-up window doesn’t directly affect video playback. Instead, it only updates the extension’s internal speed reading. Initially, I found this confusing, but once I exclusively used the buttons for real-time control, it became irrelevant. While it’s a minor issue compared to the significant improvements the extension makes to my workflow, it still needs to be fixed. What I appreciate most is how reliable it is. It hasn’t crashed, lagged, or interfered with my browser in any way. I can keep multiple tabs open, switch between tasks, and it just works. It’s become an essential part of how I approach online content, especially for learning and productivity. For anyone who spends a significant amount of time watching videos, whether for work, study or personal projects, I highly recommend this extension. It is clean, stable and performs as advertised. Despite the minor limitation of the pop-up speed bar, it is a highly effective tool.

YouTubeに於ける動作についてですが、開く度に同じ速度になるのは良いのですが、YouTubeの機能を使って速度を変えるには、フルスクリーンにしないといけません。
フルスクリーンでは無い状態では、速度変更は反映されません。
また、YouTubeで指定する速度と本拡張機能で指定する速度では、夫々異なります。

ショートカット対応済み

ページを開いて最初に「ショートカット不可」「2023年中は実装困難」という過去レビューのやりとりが目に入っていたため、ずっと選択肢から外していました。2025年10月現在、対応されています。

いくつかのブラウザで４種類の類似拡張機能を使ってきましたが、複数の速度をプリセットしてそれぞれにショートカットが割り当てられるのは今のところこれだけです。

サッカーの録画配信を見るときに、ざっと流し見したいところを２、３倍速、気になったシーンを繰り返し再生するのに低速を使いますが、複数セットできるおかげでかなり便利です。

The slow unfolding animation is tedious

I don’t really have much else to say, I mean it works, but I don’t like waiting 3 seconds as the window (on iPad) broadens. I don’t see why

Keeps your settings from session to session

Unlike three other Safari extensions of this kind that I tried, this one actually keeps your setting from session to session. So, even after you've closed down Safari and opened it up the following day your settings are preserved, no fiddling about to reset anything. Well worth half the cost of a coffee these days…

アマプラには使えないので注意

アマプラで映画を倍速視聴する目的で購入しましたが、アマプラは現在（2024年6月）ブラウザでの視聴が一切できない仕様に変更されてしまってます。
ブラウザの種類を問わずiPadやiPhoneでは再生ボタンを押すと強制的にアプリ（もしくはダウンロードを推奨する画面）に移動します。
よってこちらのアプリは使えません。
400円ドブに捨てました

時は金なり、タイパ時代に現れた救世主。

某動画配信サービス専用アプリだと1.5倍速までだが、こちらを導入してSafari上で好きな倍速で観られるようになった。Firefoxで同様のアドオンの倍速再生機能使う為にわざわざWindowsパソコン開く手間が省けた。ワンコイン以内で買えるのもいい。

キーボードショートカット不可

Chromeではショートカットキーで操作できたので便利だろうと思って購入したが、残念ながらボタンをクリックしないと再生速度変更できない仕様らしい。必須の機能なのでアップデートで実装することを願う。
